Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WF000 Front Load Washer

Wf540 hotpoint washing machine making a banging noise

I have been told there should be a filter somewhere that may have 5p's stuck in it or bra wires etc & friends have just emptied this & its solved their noise problem.
There is a big red disc on the front I've taken off but that is empty
Does my machine have one???
I can't get to the back at the moment but could if necesary but would mean disconnecting pipes etc
Please help?

Help,a wire from an underwire bra is stuck somewhere not visible in my washingmachine

You can get to this most times by removing the heater asssembly not too time consuming 1/2 hr job. once you remove heating element look in and grab wire with long nose pliers , hard part is getting out the rubber gasket se curing element. happy Easter

Bra wire stuck between inner and outer drum how to remove Hotpoint WMF760

Depends where it is stuck. If near the very front you can sometimes get them by removing the door seal to gain a small access between drums. Other ways is remove the outlet pipe from the bottom of the drum or easiest and most probable area where it stuck is remove heating element. Provides a better view and bra wires normally get stuck on them.

sounds like your water pump has failed??
Try cleaning the filter first, normally accessed at the bottom R/H side of unit at the front.
If not, replace water pump (approx £35 for part) good luck!

Hotpoint wf540 stopping on a rinse and spin and

check pump/filter/outlet hose for blockages. if ok, check pressure switch (disc shaped item at top of machine with 4? wires and a tube) by blowing into it gently - should hear clicks, then blow into tube to pressure chamber - should be clear.

Bra wiore inside drum

HAVE YOU A GOOD BRIGHT TORCH? IF SO I REMOVED MINE WITH A TORCH IN MY TEETH & A SMALL FLAT ENDED SCREWDRIVER, IF YOU CAN SEE IT TURN OFF ALL POWER TO THE MACHINE FIRSTLY THEN USING THE SMALL SCREWDRIVER COAX THE BRA WIRE TOWARDS THE NEAREST HOLE IN YOUR DRUM & THEN FEED IT THROUGH AS BEST AS POSSIBLE & THEN GRAB IT WITH EITHER FINGERS OR PLIERS IF IT IS A STRUGGLE TO PULL IT OUT.
DONT LEAVE IT IN THERE & THEN OPERATE IT AS IT WILL JAM IT & BLOW YOUR EXPENSIVE MOTOR WHICH ARE APPROX £80 OR HIGHER & YOUR PUMP IF IT JAMS IN THE BLADES BEFORE REACHING YOUR FILTER ..

Bra wire stuck somewhere in machine

You will not see it as it is trapped between the inner and outer drum, what you need to do is remove rear panel and the large hose from the pump to the bottom of the drum,
Then reach in with your fingers and see if you can feel it , if you can't then short of removing the drum (not recommended) ther is not a lot you can do, hopefully it will find it's way into the filter, where it wiil not be a problem
Plz rate this solution.
