Question about Toys

Hi there, I have a quinny buzz 3 wheeler and the screw at the bottom came loose which has allowed the gas spring to expand to it's maximum length. I have taken off the front wheel to try and push it back in to position but it takes alot of strength just to get it even half way! Whats the best way of getting it back to position so that I can tighted the screw without damaging the frame or gas system?

Assuming I am able to source a clamp large enough (whats the name of a suitable clamp)?, how will I than be able to feed the strut back into the buggy frame if it is attached to a clamp at both ends?

You can try to apply a small amount of grease or oil on it before trying to put it together. Once you have it in position the screws will hold it.

In the factory the gas strut is clamped then installed - you must do the same, the force in it is beyond normal human power.
Take out the strut completely, get a large clamp, secure the heads of the strut in it and compress it. Be very careful when tightening the clamp, the force in there can easily hurt someone.

You need a jaw clamp, or a car spring clamp - one with the jaws small enough to fit in the frame. If you can't find one then your only option is to compress it with an ordinary one like

(put 2 bolts thru the holes and press them, not the heads) then secure the ends with a tiedown. Put the strut in then cut or release the tiedown.

Hi, the frame on my quinny buzz 3 seems to become very loose i,ve tried tightened the screws but still appear loose is there any quick fix u would know?? thanks

Good Afternoon

If you've tightened the chassis screws there would be no other "quick fix" that can be recommended.

If the product is under 2 years old please contact your retailer with your proof of purchase for them to send it to the engineers under warranty terms and conditions.

If the product is over 2 years old or you do not have proof of purchase please go to www.quinny.com and select the country you're in then go to "Contact Us" to get in touch with the customer service department in your country.

How do I re gas your quinny buzz without using Dorel?

Hi Tima

It is not possible to do yourself. It would need to come to our engineers for inspection / repair. There is no gas involved in the Quinny Buzz chassis, the hydraulics are oil filled.

How do i fit the footmuff on my quinny buzz pram?

Hi, to fit the footmuff, you need to undo the straps which can be done right at the top shoulder bit. Once this done you then thread the harness through the side holes on each side of the footmuff, then through the top hole & re-attatch harness to pushchair. All that is left to do it push the **** strap though the bottom of the footmuff. Hope this is of help to you. Regards Marie
