Question about Kitchen Ranges
Both wires are of the pull off variety. Spray a little WD 40 on the negative terminal to make it easier to slide off.

SOURCE: Oven lower element wiring
I just looked at the back wiring of my JBP90 oven. The main element (bottom) has both black wires together on one element terminal and the single yellow wire on the opposite terminal. Not that it should matter, but both blacks are on the left and the yellow is on the right as viewed from behind the oven.

Dimension desktops usually have a hinged case. With an oval shaped buttton on the top AND bottom. Push both of these buttons and pivot the side panel open. Take it slowly because its usually quite crowded in there and you don't want to pinch your wires/cables between the drive cage and the chasis or end up ripping them out.
Thanks for choosing Fixya

If you turn the oven on and set it to the highest temperature you will see a black coloured cover plate at the rear of the oven with holes in. Located beind this cover is the oven element. THis after a few minutes at most should be glowing red, the fan then circulates the heat so that the oven reaches the required temperature. IF this is not glowing then the element is blown. If your house fuses tripped this is also a fairly good sign that this is the element. Zanussin provide a spare element for £48.50 but take 7 - 10 days there is a man called element man on the web, he provides the same for £24.50 and delivered in a day. I have had two elements go on me in 6 years... hope this helps ....Jack

these oven lamp covers if not been turned in a while will be baked on.. you have to force the twist with teatowel, truth be known the glass is pretty thick and i think i have only lost 1 in many years of repairs .... if able to loosen when replacing do not overtighten..
do not use wd40 or lubricants to shift as when in operation the smell will be terrible as well as rendering the unit unuseable
