First of all check for at least 12 volts from the battery and the charger, you can test this using a multimeter

SOURCE: old john deere gator and battery new charger still will not move

Could be several things.  Your battery could be bad. After not being charged for a while, they do go bad- often. You may want to try a new battery along with your new charger.  You could also have a switch /connection problem. If you get a new battery and it still doesnt work, you may want to check the switches and wiring. It is not uncommon for the switch to go bad especially if it had been stored outside.

  • Hi, I can help.

  • Well sounds like the electronics needs a chance to dry up as well as the battery. If it we me, I would remove the battery and let it dry overnight and then charge it real well. Meanwhile let the entire until dry up as well. While a little rain won't hurt it is not meant to be submerged in to deep of water for to long. I think it will recover just fine. Let everything dry up and charge the battery.

I have a Peg Perego gator. Battery seems to still have power, but it does not run. As some point, it seemed to "Stutter". It would catch and run, but then suddenly stop. What could it be, and...

Do you hear a clicking noise when it stops working? also maybe hook the battery up to a multimeter and then wiggle the wires and see if the voltage drops

John deer push pull tractor won,t work.

Hi,
If you have a clicking problem, I would check the wiring on the foot pedal. something is not connected right, which is making the fuse click.
You can contact J&L at this link or call there toll free number. http://www.shopjandl.com/kids---baby-ride-on-toys-peg-perego-switches-and-shifters.html.
They have switches and other parts for these peg perego gators, but I would talk to them to make sure.
