Question about GE Refrigerators
Check the venting that goes from the fridge vent and leads into the freezer. If you remove the rear panel of the freezer there is a fan and a vent that goes from freezer to the fridge compartment. This venting commonly gets blocked with ice stopping the air flow.
Another possible cause is the freezer control vent can get stuck causing more air to stay in freezer and less air in the fridge. If the thermostat was bad, the freezer too would not be as cold.
