Try holding down the stop/reset button until it beeps. If this does not stop it from turning on/off automatically then you may have a loose connection in the wiring between the inverter, magnetron, and/or control board, or one of those components have failed. Because of the lethal voltages used and produced with inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person repair it.

Hello,

I will advice you reset your microwave oven, follow this steps to reset it, Press the "Off/Clear' button to cancel anything on the display, and reset the microwave. This is a soft reset and will simply get you out of any program you have started. Press it when the cooking complete reminder appears on the display, for example, and the "Your Food is Ready" message will disappear. or
Reset the time of day. Press the "Clock" button, and turn the dial to set the hours. Press the dial to enter. Follow the same procedure for the minutes and a.m. or p.m. Press the "Start" button to start the clock.

Take care.

First thing would be to check the power cord. Make sure the prongs are tight inside the outlet. Next would be to remove the outter shell of the microwave while it is unplugged. Check the plugin to the power converter. See if the wires are securely attached. Check that the fuse is attached and secured and that it doesn't look burnt. If so, replace it.
Check the main circuit board as well as the control panel to make sure there are no leaking capacitors or any burn marks on the circuit board. This would indicate a faulty capacitor that may be burnt or leaking.

try unplugging it for for 1 minute. While unplugged, press and hold the stop or cancel button for 10 full seconds. Then try plugging it back in and see if it reets. You could very well have a stuck keypad which would surely cause this.

When I ask for a Galanz microwave oven manual you send me anywhere except to the manual. WHY?

To download information on Galanz products go to this site:

http://www.galanz.com/Download.aspx?ColId=110&SecId=117

The Magic Chef site for microwave ovens is here:

http://mcappliance.com/microwaveovendetail.aspx

Unfortunately I did not see the model number you provided listed here. However they do provide manuals for their products and if you select a model that is similar to yours you might find the available manual to be useful.

NO All i need is an English manual for a Galanz

You might have a little trouble with this one. But all I can suggest is sending an email
to them and ask for the manual. They should have a pdf version online but I don't read
any Chinese so can give you that directly. Most household goods companies tend to
respond within a few days about manuals.

Galanz Microwave Oven - Unable to disable child lock

Galanz's website seems to be useless. I tried finding information but kept being told "no data available." So while I can't tell you where to find the manual, here's something to try. Most microwaves get put into lock by pressing and holding one of the buttons for longer than normal, or by pressing one of the buttons several times in a row. Some ovens use the TIMER button. It won't be one of the number keys, but one of the function buttons. So start with a button, press and hold it for at least 5 seconds before you let go. If nothing happens then try another button. If that doesn't solve the problem, then try pressing each function key several times before moving on to the next one. If that still doesn't get it going, maybe a store in your area that sells Galanz will take a look at the book for you. The process should be the same for any similar model.
