Question about GE JGBC20 Gas Kitchen Range
I have a GE JGBC20 gas range with standard twin burners. Today one of the surface burners won't light. I can smell the gas but have no sparking - no clicking / snapping sound either. All the other 3 work fine - I get the gas, the spark and the burner lights. If I light the rear burner on the same side and then open the gas for the front burner - it works fine. Also works with a match.
Also I cant seem to get to the ignitor assembly behind the knobs. Are there any directions? Would greatly appreciate any help.
Sounds like a bad switch in the knob, turn on the defective side, turn on the one that works and keep the clicking going then turn on the defective burner while "other" is clicking if this lights then it means you have a bad switch or loose connections
