What does it mean when the blue light blinks 4 times and turns off every time i try to use it, and its fully charged

Based on the wording of you question it is confusing if the blinking lights are on the printer or the computer.

If you are talking about the printer first try turning it off, unpluging it, wait one minute then plug it back in. It will take a few minutes to reboot and you may have to reconnect the wireless set-up.

This link is the manual for the printer and page 33 covers trouble shooting.

Yellow light blinking only

I suggest you contact Seagate support via It may take a few days for them to respond. If they haven't answered after say 3 days, repeat the request. Please have the model number and serial number of your disk to hand. You need to more specific about the description and name of your product than you have been here - I believe from my readings that Seagate's GoFlex range is huge. Also your computer's operating system and possibly the manufacturer and model of your computer. How are you connecting the drive to your computer (ie which interface are you using) ? On the form describe the issue in as detail as possible. (copy and paste what you have written here). You could also try browsing the Seagate website for ages or joining the Seagate community, and searching that, or posting your problem there.
If you have a GoFlex net, this might be informative:
If relevant see section 7 of this

First, extract all data that you have on the hard-drive, while you still can.

Seagate's web-site suggests that you first download and run Seagate's "Drive Fitness Tool", which exercises the disk-drive, and produces a "fitness" report. If it fails, then delete all your "private" files, and either take the drive back to the retail location where you bought it, or get an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) from Seagate, to get permission from Seagate to return the drive to them, for them to analyze the disk, and probably replace it.

F1fault appearing on dash

The Fl lamp lights up when the computer finds a malfunction in the programmed fuel injection. There are 33 different codes. The offending code is denoted by how many times the Fl light blinks.
Nine of the 33 codes do not show symptoms since the engine still runs okay. If the Fl light just stays on then the engine will not run because the computer will not let it run, (except in two cases).
"MIL" translates as "Malfunction Indicator Lamp ".

This is what the service manual says:

" The PGM-Fl MIL denotes the failure codes ( the number of blinks from 0 to 33 ). When the indicator lights for 1.3 seconds it is equivalent to 10 blinks. For example, a 1.3 second illumination and two blinks ( 0.5 second X 2 ) of the indicator equals 12 blinks. Follow code 12 on page 5-26.
When more than one failure occurs, the MIL shows the blinks in order of the lowest number to the highest number. For example, if the indicator blinks once, then two times, two failures have occurred. Follow codes 1 and 2 on page 5-12."

Have a drink of Saki and think about THAT for awhile. Then get back to me with the code ( 0 to 33 ) and I can tell you what the code means.

Please rate this answer as four diamonds.
With four diamonds and some Saki I can now rest for awhile.
