HI...
It's overheating. Have you ever dusted it out?
I've seen a number of PA units fried because of dust inside

CD player does not work

10/6/08 Update.
Solved the problem myself.
Repositioned the printed circuit board with the CD Drawer open/close limit switch.
I suspect that the board shifted during shipping and failed to trigger the closed drawer position.
Player is now working.

Won.t play

on some cd players, when they are closed ,they also push a button or little springloaded switch to let it know its loaded. Now eventually these doors wear down and dont quite push the activation switch all the way
yours is inside the box and can sometimes be temporirily jammed down with blue tack or tape
Ive had the same problem and in the end its time to buy another system my friend

You probably have problem with central sensor on CD mehanism,it may be dirty, its doesn't give information when changing discs and unit "things" that you press OPEN.It can be very tricky do fix because you have to dissembly whole CD mehanizam and if you are not good in it its better to find a good service

No CD

hi yes, 2 options: find the hole that the door pushes when its closed... its a small hole in one of the corners inside the hole there is a small switch or theres a small lever that the door pushes when its closed push something that will push it permanently (a piece of paper, glue it with superglue, be creative...) good luck
