Turn the computer off.
Disconnect the power-cable.
On the motherboard, locate the battery.
It's silver-coloured, about the size of a US $0.25 coin.
Before you remove it, note the writing on the top.
Remove it.
Wait a few minutes.
Reinsert it, making sure that the noted writing is STILL on the top.
Reconnect the power-cord.
Start your computer, and enter BIOS SETUP.
Click LOAD BIOS DEFAULTS.
Save and Exit from BIOS SETUP.

Have you tried changing the setting back to the previous value?
Put two identical systems, side-by-side -- one that does not display, and one that does ---
and make the same key-strokes on both systems.

All you need to do is pull the jumper located a bit above the battery, then move it one down and your in Config Mode. In there reverse the changes you made and put the jumper back again...

Hello here is the intel homepage:

Try to renew the power supply, with one you know is working.
I think that`s the problem.

The problem could ofcourse also be the mainboard itselves failing.
There is not much to do about that, other than renew the mainboard or buy a new pc.

Good luck

My system is turn off and turn on no loading os and bios is not working motherboard is intel d102ggc2

Hi,
Have you tried pressing F2 when you powered on the PC?
Ensure that the monitor displays the signal of PC and there is no issue with video signal. If there any issue, check with RAM.
1.If no, just press it to view the bios setting. Go to the third option below.
2.If yes and no display of bios, may be your BIOS ROM chip failed. Before that take the C-mos battery out and try again. Almost try to replace it or you must go for a new motherboard.
3.If yes and getting into bios, check for the hard disk detection. If it is detected, try again for booting. If it is detected and not booting, try to format. If it is not detected, try changing it into another SATA / IDE port. Still it is not detected, replace the hard disk.

Hi, iam ramesh i have problem in my intel 845gvsr , when system boots it displayed error message date & time not set , i have changed new cmos battery.

There are two reasons for this issue
1. It is battery - but you have replaced it. 2. It could be your BIOS is degraded try the following steps
a. Reset your settings to defaults by using the jumper and try b. if the issue still persists you can try installing the upgraded BIOS version (but be cautioned - since failure during BIOS upgrade may lead to motherboard failure).

The CPU my Intel S975XBX2 Motherboard is Overheating at about 67c to 82c with a Pentium d processor clocked at 3ghz (not overclocked)

clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor specifically around your central processing unit making VERY sure there is no moisture in the air line

as dust will cause a lot of static which will make a computer overheat and cause lots of problems

hope this helps
