SOURCE: how do I load the

Hello,

You need to open the nail magazine and you just load one strip of nails at a time, then close the magazine. It will have a spring putting pressure on the nails, so it will have resistance on it and it will increase as you close it.

The oil gets dripped in the air hose connection on the gun before you connect the air. Make sure that this gun actually takes oil, some newer guns are oilless.

Hope this helps,Matt

SOURCE: Good Morning, I have a Porter

Could be very simple problem of headvalve oring coming off or pinched. Remove the head and look at the oring installed on the headvale. Sometimes this oring will fall off the grove. If the oring is off groove and is pinched, you may need to replace with generic oring sold at Lowes (if oring is gold vinyl replace with black rubber from lowes, will work better). If oring is in place, pull out the cylinder and examine the driver for bent blade/broken. If bent, make adjustment or replace as needed. If the driver is in good shape check that the check valve is in the proper place. The check valve is a black rubber band around a series of holes on the outside of the cylinder. Good luck

Porter Cable FN250 will not advance the nails to the hammer. It appears to be an alignment problem. The nails stop on side of the hammer and not under it. It looks like the nails should be held "tighter"...

UNPLUG nailer. remove all the nails and look for a jammed nail in the magazine/ose area. Next check to make sure using the right guage nails for this tool and then look for a bent or broken driver blade. all the above could be causing you problems.

I have a PC nailer (Finish) It is misfiring? was working fine. Now it does not NAIL although I can see the indentation on the wood ...help!!!!

Check the magazine area near the head for a jammed nail or other feed obstruction. It sounds like the driver is hitting the wood ok. Did you change nails (brand, type, or size) when this occurred? Make sure the magazine feed spring is ok.
