The earliest operating system on which Nero 7 will function is Windows 2000 SP4. Therefore, it will not work on a W98 PC (as this is indicated to be). Sorry for the bad news, but the "good news" would be that if you intend to stay with the Windows 98 PC for some time and wish to use a similar product, older versions can still be purchased, and typically for a minimal amount. However, I would also suggest that you verify the system requirements for the drive you purchased, and make sure that the drive itself will operate on a W98 machine. If not, it would be best to return/exchange it as soon as possible.

Please post back if you need further assistance. Otherwise, thank you for using and rating FixYa!

Blue Screen of death with Re-writable CD`s and DVD`s.

First I would go to the Control Panel > System > Hardware > device manager. There go to cd-dvd drives and right click on the cd drive and then click un-install. Restart your unit then test it,

If that does not work, I would un-install InCD, then re-install it. On Nero's website there a un-installers for Nero and InCD.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Burner not installed message

James, I have found in the past that many computer manufacturers only install a trial version of some software. One major manufacturer, who shall remain nameless custum built a P.C online that included a CD burner, but I found out later that even though they installed the burner, they provided no burning software. It sounds as though you have no CD burning software installed. First, from the start button, go to control panel, then to add remove software. A list will compile showing all software installed on your machine. If you do not have a CD, or DVD burning program installed and your computer came with no CD's( most today do not) that may contain that program, you will probably have to buy your own at this point. Just to clarify, do you only have a CD burner, or is it a CD burner/ DVD ROM, or do you have a DVD burner. If you have a DVD burner, then you are capable of burning both CD's and DVD's. If you need to purchase burning software I would suggest you do an internet search for Nero, This is the software that I use. It works well in addition to being easy to use.On the Nero site I have in the past purchased their OEM version, the OEM versions are usually available at very good prices. I prefer to purchase software online and have a disc mailed to me as opposed to downloading it online just so that I have a hard copy if I ever need it. If you are limited to burning CD's, just get the CD software. If the device you have installed in your computer is a DVD burner, then purchase the DVD software and you can burn on both formats.

1.5.1powercd+burner crack code

Any CD can be simply copied. I use Nero Burning ROM. Using the program - select Copy CD and it will copy any CD (including the security devices). Nero costs money to keep (and obtain the Nero Burning ROM as opposed to Nero Essentials which is available on the Trial ware and will not copy a CD) so you may want to go to a site like this:

http://www.download.com/CD-DVD-Burners/3150-2646_4-0.html

And browse through the downloadable programs - Read the specs as not all of these will simply Copy a CD and not all are free.

Note: It is legal to make a "Backup Copy" of a CD that you own, but it is illegal to make multiple copies of that CD.
