For that make sure all settings on BT homehub are perfect. Access it with below method. Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then configure wan settings and lan settings enable wireless if you want to use wifi . Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

How do I access the internet using a BT home hub set up for wireless operation, without having to go through BTfon

Hi Graham
This should be fairly straight forward.
Your BT Home hub should be transmitting 2 signals. One called BTfon and another called something like BTHomeHub2-PGD3.
The second is what your computer should be connecting to to access the internet. If you look at the back of your home hub you will see 4 rows of numbers/text.
One should say SSID and have have the same ending as the transmitter that your computer should be seeing. Underneath that it should say WEP code or WPA. (or something similar) What follows is the password you need to enter to access that home hub's internet transmitter. The BTfon thing is for the telephone that comes with some versions of the hub - it's not for the computer.

I have no sound on my hitachi 61swx12b

Howdy;
Try these items first: re-set TV and any type of BOX you have hooked to the TV. 2) Ensure all cables are secure. 3) Make sure that there is not a speaker switch on back of TV. 4) go into customer menu (audio) and make that speakers are turned on. 5)
Symptom: AUDIO MUTE OR HUM.
Cause: Remove ALL jumpers on bottom of SRS pwb.Add 1000mf@16v across CSH1 add 1000mf@16 across CSH4 add gnd wire 24ga from PSU1 conn pin 18 to IT02 pin 97.

Good Luck, Big Irish.

Can I use my acer aspire one wirless with bthomehub2. I can connect with cable

Not sure of what your issue is,you can connect to the internet by cable/DSL but not to your home wireless network?,or another wireless network? either way most wireless networks ask for a user code or password.Does the network appear with an open lock symbol or locked.Even if it's your network you have to grant access.Good Luck.

Ps3 can only connect to one or two games online playing fifa09

I'm not sure about 3659 but these are the ports I have forwarded

TCP:
  • 80
  • 443
  • 5223
UDP:
  • 3478
  • 3479
  • 3658 should also be opened for voice chat.
Also DMZ would be perfectly fine as long as long as you set a static IP on your PS3

What DMZ allows is that any ports communicating to a specific IP access, so if this IP is alway connected to your PS3 no harm to other computers or devices can be done!
