Question about Canon PowerShot SX100 IS Digital Camera
There is a little clip inside the camera that is supposed to move to grab and hold of the card. The spring can wear or fall out or get bent and no longer hold the card in place. The camera will have to be disassembled carefully so you can gain access to the memory card slot. Then the card bay will have to be examined to see the position of the spring and latch. If it's bent it will have to be straightened out. If missing, a new one will need to be replaced with a steady pair of hands. Canon will repair it for $50 plus shipping. Fixing it yourself is not the easiest task but can be done with lots of patience and concentration. The hard part is finding a replacement spring and latch if that is the case.

Tips for a great answer:
Hey Abraham Acevedo, thank you for the post!
From my understanding the door on your Frigidaire microwave, PLMV168, is not staying closed. You could be seeing an issue with either your door latch or latch assembly within the microwave. Since these components require patience and precision to replace or remove from your appliance, I always suggest seeking professional assistance. One must be very careful handling these replacement parts as they can lead to potential harm. -Matt

The only time I have had this happen, is when the cicuit card inside slid back. This keep it from connecting to the PS2 memory slot. It is simple to repair, open the memory card up and slide it forward infront of the stay that supposed to keep it forward. If the stay is broken, then put someting inside the memory card to keep the circuit card pushed forward.
