I cant retrieve my mms messages with my samsung monte, get the message "service unavailable" on vodafone pay monthly

I think the problem in not being able to receive certain items or connect to a certain service such as mms is related to missing settings on your phone, even if your phone connects to your provider and has a good signal, they may still be needed .. annoyingly my phone (also a samsung monte) refuses to work too if certain data hasnt been added to it-I cant get picture messages unless the mms picture setup info has been added to its setup menu options. I dont have them yet, but if I do get them Ill try posting what u need on here, otherwise as a last resort you may need to contact your service provider for the correct configuration for your phone to accept mms. try emailing their website, adding the problem on their official website's forum, or even try your providers local phone store if available for info. they all should be able to help out-even more so if you state what phone you are using. PS many providers (from their website) have an "auto setup" in which they can send the required data straight to your phone if you enter your phone number and click on send.

My samsung b3310 won't send pictures. When I try it says "service unavailable" and when i want to recieve pictures too...please help!!

Hi,

To send and recieve picture you need to activate MMS service.

To activate MMS ,You need to contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office.
They will send you the settings for your model. You will receive service settings in the special text message called as smart message. Please save the settings to your phone and set it has a default settings. Then you can start using the MMS in your phone.
Thank You

Cant receice or send picture messages

IT seems that it is a setting problem. so contact your network operator and ask them to send settings or manually enter your "message service centre number" and restart the phone...
