Start the laptop using the install disk by inserting it and pressing (and holding) the "C" key immediately after you turn on the computer. This will allow you to inspect your hard drive, clear some space and run Disk Utility to verify the internal hard drive.

Once you have a desktop, press command (apple) and "N",
1. Open the Applications folder.
2. Open the Utilities folder.
3. Launch Disk Utility.
4. Select "First Aid" in the bar in the upper middle of the window.
5. Select your laptop's internal hard drive from the list on the left of the window.
6. Select "Repair Permissions" in the lower center of the window. The software will check your permissions files, correcting any errors. This should include the kenell issue that is preventing your laptop from starting.
This may take several minutes, so you can check the capacity of your hard drive to see if it is actually full (simply open the hard drive, the capacity should be listed at the bottom of the window).
If it is full, consider what to remove while permissions repair is underway.

Error 53000921

Your video processor has a problem, seems like it is overheating:
graphic glitches on startup blue screen
Also, my computer would blue screen on me when i tried to run a high end graphical game, in this case Guild Wars.
I ran a full length diagnostic on my video card, and over half the tests failed.
I had many errors in the reading and writing of video memory, and failed tests of whether a page was void of colour errors and such.
I wrote down all the error codes and they are as follows:
5300:0119
5300:031E
5300:051D
5300:0820
5300:0921
5300:0B21

graphic glitches on startup blue screen

If you're under warranty, call Dell with the error information and they will replace the video card. If you're out of warranty, you can order a card:

The front LED flashes red & blue when I turn it on. What does this mean?

LED Indicators - LaCie 2big Network
The LED indicators above the drive bays and the front LED indicate drive status and activity.
During Startup
  • Front LED – blinks red/blue until both disks are powered on, then turns solid blue.
  • Rear LEDs – blinks red/blue until corresponding disk is powered on, then turns solid blue.
NOTE: If the device is not able to initiate the boot process following disk startup, the front is solid red.
During Bootup
  • Front LED – solid blue
  • Rear LEDs – solid blue
NOTE: If a disk is failing, both the disk’s corresponding rear LED and the front LED will be solid red.
During RAID Synchronization
  • Front LED – solid red
  • Rear LEDs – The LED corresponding to the original disk will be blinking blue and the one being synchronized is blinking red
  • Once both disks are synchronized, their corresponding rear LED and the front LED will be solid blue.

I have an HP Pavillion ZE2000 laptop and it will nto boot up, push button to turn it on. goes to windows page then goes black and nothing happens will nto boot all the way up to windows page with icons. is...

press f8 at startup to get to the windows startup menu, choose "last known good configuration" If that fails, you can choose "disable automatic restart" and the BSOD, Blue screen will appear and give you an error, you can also goto safe mode with the f8 key on startup, choose safe mode, and then click yes at the prompt to start the system restore, pick a date and time the PC worked, and try that.If that doesn't work, you need to restore the PC to factory default state, by using or purchasing restore disks, you would have been asked to make them when you 1st powered on the PC, if you don't have the CD's call HP and order them.

Dell inspiron 1300 stalls at blue welcome page?

It could be a hardware failure. Bad Hard drive maybe. You will have to go to the manufacturers website to get the reinstall disk. A.K.A Recovery Disk. You will have to pay. And they will send it in the mail to you. Good luck.

I have the R300 error message on my computer for my ATI Drivers it wont let me play Blu Ray movies cause it keeps stopping and making the screen go blank.

This should fix it.

Go to MSConfig
2.) Go to Services Tab
3.) Hit "Hide all Microsoft services"
4.) Go to Startup Tab
5.) Hit Disable All.
6.) Try your disk
It worked? Good. Continue on.
7.) Go to www.sysinfo.org
8.) Under Startup, search all the things you have in startup, and only enable the ones that they suggest.
9.) After you have re-enabled all of these 'good' ones, try your disk
again. Did it work?
10.) Play your disk.
Please rate this solution.
