Hi, what makes you not to hear anything when making calls is because the earpiece is faulty.

The earpiece is a small speaker at the top of the phone where you put on the ear in other for you to hear anything when calling. You need to replaced it with another.

When you replaced the speaker, you will now be able to hear when people call you.

Unfortunatley this phone will not work in the States. It works off the 2G system of GSM 900 / 1800 where the system in the US is a 850MHz/1900-MHz GSM. As the frequencies transmitted by the mobile do not match the frequencies recognised by the mobile masts it will never work and will only be good in Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa

Unfortunately, you can't install these files thru PC USB, you will have to instead download them directly from the internet on your mobile phone, through your phone browser.
