When you turned it on and nothing comes up, then it was not powered on at all by the power supply. Try to check if the power supply fan is still spinning. If not anymore, you may need to change power supply.

Universal box is powered via USB port which is normally about 5v... I would recommend you first check the USB cable you are using, try to also check your USB port or change to a different one. Do you get any LED on the box once connected. do you get and USB to serial device listed under my devices one unit is connected. kindly post back with all this info so that i may help you further.

Here is my issue:when i try to isert my sim in my mobile it sks for restriction code and when i called up my provider for this and they are delaying but not providing codes..what can i do now???pls help me...

Hi,restriction code is nothing but network lock..you are in contract with your provider for certain period and if you want to break it in between you can do it in some ways like hardware/software unlocking, unlocking via cable, remote unlocking or unlocking by codes..unlocking by codes is the best and safe way of unlocking..you can try theunlockarena to get restriction code for your mobile and get it unlocked safely..

My nokia 3110c mobile was disconnected while software update was going on, after that it is not switching on

Good Day,
With that unfortunate event, your phone is now "dead". But it can be "revived" by Flashing it again through FBUS connection. Fbus connection is by using special "Boxes" such as JAF, Twister , or Universal Box. Specialized Cellphone Technicians have these so called boxes. If you can find a cellphone Repair shop, specializing in Nokia phones (certified), you can bring that there and have "re-programmed".
If possible, it would be better to bring it to a Nokia Care Center for better service.
There would be no other way to power that on, or even try to connect it to USB and flash with the Nokia Software updater. There are "tricks" but it sometimes bring more harm to the phone than good, so better opt to have "professionally" done. The state you phone is in now, is like an erased firmware, or corrupted firmware. Use of third party " uncertified" / non tested flasher and flashing procedure, may have your phone end as useless, like corrupted Security area, erased IMEI (12345679? IMEI), locked phone etc.
Hope this helps. Thank you for using Fixya.

My Nokia 3110c mobile is restart when i opened configration setting and did not start internet connection show invalid web setting. Please give me a solution

Hi,

There is a Software problem in your mobile you should renew your mobile software.
If your a Mobile technician then use the software box & as well as use the suitable cable of your mobile e.g JAF Software dongle box and cable. By using this you can renew your mobile software. If your Not a Mobile Technician the dont try this thing it is harmful for your mobile it may become dead.

If your not a mobile technician then please visit your nearest Nokia Service Center ( Nokia Care) they will do it in proper method.

Regards,
Harish

I tried to flash my nokia 5310-c using noking software update via nokina pc suite and successfully installed the latest version for the mobile phone. But my phone doesn't start now. It momentarily shows a...

Actually what you did was a Firmware update, not Flashing. Flashing is possible only with specific Hardware and software like Jaf box, Ufs Box, etc.. If you flashing using Jaf or Ufs, you don't need to put the battery, the cable that comes with the Jaf or Ufs has batter connector itself which when connected to the phone will power one in different mode (Not nokia mode as you update your firmware using Nokia Pc suite). Once you've updated the firmware, there's no way to revert it back to the previous state.

Now your problem might be fatal and the only solution is to completely flash it using Jaf or Ufs. In this situation, you better visit a mobile repairing shop or a Service center and get it repaired. The software and hardware cost more than the price of your Handset, so doing yourself is not recommended.

Good luck.

Mobile Ded

If it's totally dead then all you can try is to change the battery for another freshly charged one and to check that the charger is working.

If that doesn't work then there's nothing more which can be done in the way of remote diagnosis: the phone has to power up in order for any symptoms to be described to the FixYa community. A totally dead mobile can be the result of so many causes it's not even worth making guesses.

A totally dead phone offers you just two choices: replace it or take it to a technician who can use specialist tools to perform diagnostic checks in order to determine whether the phone is repairable or not. Given that a brand new Nokia 1209 can be purchased SIM free for under £25 it's not worth doing anything other than binning it and buying a replacement unless it's still under warranty; a spare battery can cost more than £25.

I hope that this reply has been of some use and ask in return only that you return the favour by rating my answer.

Dropped

Erm, maybe because you dropped it.. just guessing. Anyway cellphones as other hi-tech appliances are very very touchy on the subject of handling. You can drop your phone from the 3rd floor and and still be able to use it and you can drop it 50cm and it'll be broken beyond repair. In your case something might have burned out or a connection severed in either case your best bet is repair if you have insurance (drops aren't covered though) or buy a new one. P.S. You can also try dropping it again if there is nothing to lose...
