Hi,
The problem here is that the current graphics card you have does not support the specific shader version that is used to improve the quality of graphics by shading the pixels. You might wanna upgrade to a better graphics card.
Best Regards

    Hi,
A graphics card is simply a card just like a modem which is used to create graphics for your videos you watch on youtube or movies and games. Te better the graphics card the better the game play..If you want to upgrade your graphics card you just have to buy a new good one like nvidia XFX GeForce 210 that can run games like GTA etc. After you bought it from like PC World you want to install it. I'll put a link from where you can see how to install it. Here is the link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ILrq7lMe...

Pixel shader error 06 on my optiplex 330

Graphics Card
Minimum Requirement
VRAM (256 MB)
DirectX 9.0c / Shader 3.0
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 series
ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro

Your Dell has an Intel GMA 3000 onboard with up to 256 MB shared memory and isn't listed so probably isn't supported.

Try lowering the texture quality in the options, If not you can try and update your drivers but I think it's just that the card is to old to support that game's requirements. Sorry to give you the bad news.

Resident evil 5 benchmark unsupported pixel shader version 2.0

The game needs Pixel Shader 3 support, which is found on GeForce 6 series and up, and Radeon X1k series and up,

Sorry but a video card upgrade is a must to play this game.
If you're trying to run it on a laptop then you are probably out of luck as they're not upgradable.

ERROR: Un supported pixel shader version detected, 2.0

You get this error because your graphic-card (architecture) is too old to run the game. To run the game you need a graphic-card which supports at least pixel shader 3.0, whil your card "only" has 2.1.

In case you're sure your card supports pixel shader 3.0, you'll need to update the graphic driver and/or DirectX (component of Windows) to the latest version(s) and try again.

If you're not sure wether your card support pixel shaders 3.0, you can post the brand, name and type of your graphic card here and I'll reply. When the card doesn't support 3.0, there is no other solution than simply buying a newer card (or don't play the game).

Probably you have picture shader 2.0 card and it requires a picture shader 3.0 to run the game
