I share a computer with my spouse, her site has the new bt yahoo tool bar, but mine is still operating on windows 8 explorer,how can i obtain the new set up on my site?

I have seen your problem and your solution is too easy and is given below

First open your Internet explorer
first go to Tool bar and then select "Tools" option
go at the last there is "Internet option" select that then new window will open

then from Tab bar select "Security" then click on "trusted sites" after that click on "sites"(option on the middle right hand side) new window will appear

"Add the website to the zone" below this write the name of website(E.G:- www.yahoo.com) then click on add button
Then click on OK button

your browser will open the page.

Go to internet options addons and disable the plug-in for yahoo BT

Please upgrade first the version of your Windows Internet Explorer. The connection of Yahoo Messenger rely on Internet Explorer.

If you are using different web browser like Mozilla Firefox, It doesn't matter. Just install Internet Explorer 8 compatible with your operating system and do not default it as your browser.

Do this and you will find it easy to access your yahoo Messenger in just a second.

It seems that you have old yahoo tool bar on your computer and other yahoo aplications loaded
First what you do is
Open control Pannel and From Add/Remove
Remove all the YAhoo Applications, tool bard and Updates

Got Yahoo.com and Click on Messangers and Download the full the applucation ..

Remember whenever you download something soem anyweb site they may offer for Yahoo tool bar- Just Uncheck the Box..

You don't need a toolbar to go to Yahoo.
Just type the Yahoo web address in the address bar as follows
www.yahoo.com OR
www.yahoo.com.au OR the appropriate address for other countries

Go in internet explorer setting in advance tab click on restore default. and restart the computer.

you must re-install windows XP.
