The problem is the motor itself because the rotor is locking up and the only viable solution is replacing it.

I have a LG washing machine, model WD1256RD that won't power up I've changed the main power board no joy.

did u check for a fuse as some of the newer models have a fuse sometimes located along the body or tub ? it may have bad fuse, also check for live voltage where the power plug wire attached to the motor . Your schematic should show which wire from the motor is the live wire. There 2 wires u can jumper with a test plug with 2 stripped back wires and a prong at the other end, when plugged in and attached to ur motor it should start, if it starts then ur power cord is bad. This is a live power test with a multimeter to check for proper voltage. as you may not be getting voltage to the unit

My Beko Washing Machine isn't responding. Can you help me fix it?

The motor is bound and if you continue to power it, you will burn out the motor windings. You have to locate and free whatever is binding up the motor. That will resolve the issue.

Bet that if you disconnect the motor from the mechanics around it, the unit will turn.

The SE light flashes when turning on the washing machine

Not sure which washing machine you have. But assuming it is an LG SE is a serious fault.
Motor fault detected Can also be caused by be main PCB
This is not a good fault code to see as it will generally be correct and either the washing machine drive motor or the main electronic control PCB is faulty.
  • Check motor
  • Check motor tacho
  • Check all connections and blocks to the motor
  • Check connections on the main control module
  • Check main control module
For more detailed analysis please post make and model of your washing machine in the comments field.

Washing machine drum won't turn under power

is the washing machine went to its usual cycle? put water in?

if you think the motor should have run already, then it could be the motor or the motor inverter.
check the motor leads for equal resistance, if i'm right, you may have a three phase motro so the three leads that comes out should have equal resistance.

also, if you can monitor the voltage present in the motor leads while it is plug in and you are waiting for the motor to run, if there is voltage then there is a problem with the motor, if there is no voltage present, then the inverter unit would be the defective part.

tnx 4 using fixya,
