    Hi Again,

I've spoken to plumber on phone, he thinks it might be solution 2 required. I have eventually managed to speak to someone at saniflo UK, not very helpful at all! The brochure has all the parts illustrated and numbered but the won't give me a list/key to show what all the parts are. How nice! I explained problem and she said it sounds like it's the "upper discharge vent", the pipe might have shrunk and may need replaced. Does this sound likely to you? Thanks again

Thanks for that. Plumber had another look last night, we think he's solved it! The blue tap on water inlet hose was on fully open (might have been knocked by joiner working in that area), so he reduced the flow a bit and it's seems ok so far, will know for sure when i get home from work and check again.

Use 5 minute epoxy or puddy epoxy to seal the leak after drying it if there is a crack.

If the leak is at a gasket or seal, then try to tighten or remove and replace the defective part.

I suggtes check this link about TROUBLESHOOTING guide to solve it (page 10 and next), sound like a install problem, its a vent to allow air in. If its leaking it may be faulty but it sounds like your saniflo is in need of a service.

Hope helps.

Hello,

This are likely solution to stop the water leakage below

Clean tank ball and drain seat thoroughly. If leak persists, replace the worn tank ball or flapper with a Fluidmaster Bull's Eye Flapper Model 43 or 48, Bull's Eye Super Flapper Model 43/48 or a Flusher Fixer Kit replacement seat for damaged brass, plastic or ceramic flush valve drain seats.

Make certain the black vinyl refill tube is attached to the top of the overflow pipe with the angle adapter (see illustration). If the angle adapter does not fit onto the overflow pipe. Fluidmaster offers a Special Refill Clamp Model 43/48
Reset to a lower level by using the water level adjustment clip (see illustration) located on the link of the valve. Squeeze the two ends of the metal clip together, then slide clip down the link.

Replace the entire overflow pipe/flush valve assembly.

Solution 2

Shut off the water supply and remove the Valve cap (Model 43 or 48: lift arm first) by rotating 1/8 turn counterclockwise. Cover the opening with an inverted cup, and turn water on and off a few times. This should flush and remove water line debris. Turn cap over and clean seal surface by rinsing under running water. Replace cap (43/48: lift arm first) by rotating clockwise. Turn on water. In the case of well water supplies, the best long-term solution is a filter.

Shut off main water inlet valve to the house. Turn on all water outlet valves inside and outside the houise, then flush all toilets. Allow outlets to drain and pipes to fill with air. Then turn on main water inlet valve and fill and shut off inside and outside outlet valves. Remove toilet valve caps (43/48: lift arm first) by rotating 1/8 turn counterclockwise. Hold a container over the uncapped valve and turn water supply on and off a few times to clear debris. Replace top by engaging lugs and rotating 1/8 turn clockwise.

Thank you and thanks for using fixya.

I have a sanicompact 43, if the water pressure is low will this b the reason for flushing problems , please ?

Its a Cisternless ceramic toilet with built-in Macerator Pump.So the water pressure should not make much of a difference as most of the job is done by the pump

plz. Don't forget to rate my suggestion.

How much refrigerant does a 1999 dodge grand caravan hold?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
This is probably more information that you wanted but... have to cover all the possibilities:
If you are servicing a system that has leaked you have no idea how much oil it left in the system.
DO it right the first time......
The proper way to service it is to connect it to a recovery & servicing unit. Evacuate and test the system for leaks, then reservice the system per the specs below.
1999 Dodge Caravan:

. Low side gauge (evaporator suction): 10 to 37 psi.*
. High side gauge (discharge): 112 to 210 psi.*
. Refrigerant oil capacity (without rear A/C): 5.00 oz.
. Refrigerant oil capacity (with rear A/C): 7.40 oz.
. Refrigerant capacity (without rear A/C): 2.13 lbs. of R-134a
. Refrigerant capacity (with rear A/C): 2.88 lbs. of R-134a

*Sea level and ambient air temperature of 80 degrees F.

What size toilet seat fits a sanicompact elite?

Hi,

The manual http://www.saniflo.co.uk/pdf/install/Sanicompact.pdf shows that the lid and seat is of an elongated design and I think that you would need to get a direct replacement instead of trying to fit a standard seat/lid combo as a replacement. A normal seat/lid may line up with the fixing holes, but would probably not be the same elongated design.

8139a53.jpg

You should be able to get a direct replacement from your plumbers merchant (may need to order), or from Saniflo directly http://www.saniflo.co.uk/

If this helps please leave feedback, if not let me know and I'll try and help some more!

Toshiba 43" Rear Projection tv (Just show's Blue Screen)

Hi Chris,
It sounds like you have a tuner problem. Usally the set will turn blue if there is no signal to the set, which is first generated from the tuner. It could also be the processor on the main board, but I would look at the tuner first.
Good luck and I hope this has helped
