Question about Car Audio & Video

Open Question

I've bought a new Sendai radio for my skoda octavia 2001 model but the colours on the supply pins don't match up. The skoda supply has 7 cables of blue/white, grey/white, yellow/orange, red/white, blue/grey, red/white, brown. The new radio colours are: battery 12v(+) = yellow, auto antenna = blue, ACC+ = red, and ground = black. Halfords didn't know how to wire it, so i'll do it myself if you could help me please. Which colours do i put with the new colours?

Pump relay location

From the Haynes repair manual:
'access to the relays can be obtained after removing the drivers side lower facia then remove the two plate screws (one either end) and lower the plate complete with relays'. Some relays are at the rear of the engine (the second box left to the nearside suspension strut) as your looking into the engine (under a cover)

The fuel pump works off of these fuses/relays:
Pin 5 goes to fuse no. 32
Pin 10 goes to fuse no. 34
Fuses are fed from relay no. 109

Hope this helps, a diagram of the footwell is here:

Hello , I have a new Tiguan trend and fun 2.0 and my dash light and radio won't work.

Check the manual and find the fuse box or boxes. find the dash lite fuse, it may say " interior illumination" If it is good check also the radio fuse.
If the fuses are good, you have to visit a wv dealer for detailed fault finding.
If the car still have warranty, don`t mess with the electrical system.
The car also have can bus electrical system, and it can go wrong when you try to fault find your self.

The fault could be the light switch, fuses, the radio.

Here is a fuse list for a golf:

Check the Fog light relay, instrument panel light dimmer switch fuse.

Good luck

My Skoda Octavia '97 lighter don't work.

The lighter socket has a separate fuse. I'm not really sure where the cockpit fuse panel is located in your model (didn't have myself), but I'm sure it should be documented in the owners manual.
Later models had the fuse panel at the left dashboard side which is accessible from the opened drivers door. (UK: possibly mirrored) I can imagine the early octavia still has the fuse panel under the dash either at drivers or passenger side. This was usual for a long time.
