Card Error We are getting a "card error" when we try to set up the camera with a SD 2.0gb Polaroid card. We used it before and it worked fine. But now it's not. The manual does not give us any troubleshooting information.

We bought a 512 SD memory card and it now works without errors. The 2.0gb card was apparently too much memory for the camera to handle.

When I try to take a photo, I get a "card error" message, but the card works fine in other cameras--?

Maybe it's not a card error but your camera is failing? You might buy a 1 Gb SD card and test how it works with a new card

I have a polaroid dvf-720 brand new and trying to record and 2mins and it says memory full? i dont understand, and i have a memory card that says card error, need help or im in trouble with the wife!

Ok so I have the same problem I went out and purchased an SD card...but it doesnt work. So I called Polaroid and you need to purchase a CLASS 6 SD card of 2gb or more for it to work properly...figures it does not say that in the manual.

Polaroid i733 card error

The i733 works with SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it won't work. You need to go with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Card error

Hi!

I wish what I'll be saying will resolve the problem. Unfortunately, your camera can only support up to 1GB of SD card. That's the reason why the 4GB card is not working.

Here's a screenshot of the details regarding your Polaroid camera.

I hope that helps.

Good luck and have a nice day!

Sd card

Hey litbit3471,
What you most likely need to do is format the SD card. Directions on how to do this are on page 82 of your camera manual. I have included a link to a PDF download of your camera manual incase you need it. I hope this helps!
