Print on left side of paper lighter than right side

Are you using a photo paper designed for printing on both sides? Most one sided photo paper is only meant to be printed on one side, and the other side is not designed to show true colors.

I think i have a fuser error. When I print something the right side of the paper is very light in color. If I print multiple pages, it gets lighter by every page.

Put paper in the manual feed tray. Print. When the page gets half way into the printer, open the cover. Remove the toner. Look down at the paper. Is the right side lighter than the left? If yes, replace the toner cartridge. I don't believe that a fuser could cause your problem.

WHENEVER I PRINT I GET A GREY BACKGROUND IT LOOKS LIKE DUSTY PAPER BUT IT ISNT? WHY IS THIS?

If the black toner cartridge (Q6000A) is not original, problem with the doctor blade, bad calibrated.

Use Original cartridges?

See This:

The amount of background toner shading becomes unacceptable.

1.The media might not meet HP specifications.
  • Use a different paper with a lighter basis weight.
2. Use a different paper with a lighter basis weight.
  • Check the MFP environment.
3.One or more print cartridges might below. If non-HP print cartridges are used, no messages appear on the control panel or in the HP ToolboxFX.
  • Replace any low print cartridges.

HP 2600 is printing with a grey background. I have done several recalibrations and cleaned it but it does not fix the problem.

same as me, I got reduce this effect printing in normal paper as if i where printing transparency paper. The background is lighter now, but still appears.
The other thing I test, printing a blank page it was that with a glosy photo paper with the gloss side to the back i dont get any background. So i suspect it has to do with the tansfer belt ETB rollers.

Please do the following

2) Wipe the print head with a tissue to eliminate all dried ink particales.

Once dont please insert the cart ridge again and try printing

I get a white line on the printed pages on my Brother MFC4800. The line is about 5mm wide and runs down the left hand side of the paper, cutting through the type. Can you help please

Try cleaning the optics and the charge corona. If you do not have the operators manual which outlines the proceedure, go to www.welcome.solutions.brother.com. The proceedure is in the CLEANING documentation. Make sure the wire cleaner is pushed all the way back to its home position. Otherwise, the white line may return if the cleaner is left in the expoure path. IF THE WHITE LINE APPEARS ON PRINTED PAGES GENERATED BY YOUR COMPUTER, THE WIRE CLEANER IS THE MOST LIKELY CAUSE.. IF THE WHITE LINE APPEARS ON PRINTS THAT WERE SCANNED USING THE BROTHER SCANNER, THE OPTICS MAY BE SMUDGED. LOOK FOR CORRECTION FLUID ON THE GLASS **** (THE NARROW SCAN GLASS). THIS IS THE USUAL CAUSE.
