No sound driver or sound card

Dear Charlotte, I assume you had got a driver CD when buying your laptop or desktop or motherboard. If you posses it right now, just insert the CD in the DVD Drive and install the Audio Driver, which is normally provided by the Companies like Realtek or IDT or something else. If you have Windows Vista or Seven installed on your computer, these OS's do not actually require the audio or video drivers, but still it is recommended to install these drivers.

If you are working on Windows platform and you don't have audio driver at your hand, you can download Realtek Audio driver from the link below according to your OS requirement:

Realtek Audio Drivers

Hope this will work for you.

I have installed everything and it works. When i connected the videomachine to the PC i can see the picture but there no sound and how do i save the video to the pc's harddrive to put onto a DVD?

You have to run the sound into the PC's, Audio IN, Connection. IF you are using Component Video, IN, the Blue, Red, Green, Cables, you ALSO need the Red & White, Stereo Audio connection. IF using the Composite Video, IN, the Yellow, Video, and again the Red & White Audio Out. Even some HDMI, STILL require the AV Out too. So check, that first. Check Volume on PC, check you have a sound manager on PC, too. Just having a "Driver" isn't sufficient you need the sound manager too. You need to ensure that the correct in put is selected on PC, the AUDIO IN, You usually, to two RCA Plugs, Red & White, for the TV, and ensure you select the right input on TV too.

First install  "Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver" and then "Conexant High Definition Audio Driver"

No sound after windows XP installation + realtek installation

check the series, is it really require realtek? because the driver doesn't depends on the windows XP, but the type, model and series of motherboard or chipset brand.... anyway, realtek doesnt written on the device manager, check to your control panel - sound and audio device, is all enabled?or does any volume elements are muted..
