How can I unlock the regional code of my LG HT355SD?

Switch on the unit, open the tray but don't put any disk on it. press 0 on the remote, regional code info appears on the tv screen, it gives you the current code. Scroll down to change regional code- selct 0 for all regions. hit pause to exit. switch off the unit and wait for a moment. then test.

    what worked for me is this:

    1) switch on and open tray
    2) press 0 3 times, the regional code winfo will appear
    3) type 0 and hit pause to exit

    Hello,

    I am at a loss, i have tried the above multiple times, does anybody know if lg maybe changed it?
    Holding the '0' for an extended period of time or pressing it 3 or 4 times, it didnt work. Anybody else another idea?

    this is not working - I cannot get the tray to open - it's totally locked with the key icon showing in red

    If I hit the DVD button again, it shows the word "SAFE" but the red key is always lit up

Unlock code for LG DV276 PLS??


Using the remote control open tray
Press 0, 0, 0
Region selection will appear.
Select 0 for no region (ie. all regions)
Press pause button on remote control.
Turn Unit off and back on again.
It should now be region free.
Test your disk.

How to unlock region code for dvd player


Hi, have you tried this? It worked on my LG player. 
1. Open DVD tray 
2. Press "0000" on the remote. 
3. A screen will appear saying NEW REGION CODE displaying the current one. 
4. Press "0" for all zones. 
5. Press the "select" button on the remote. 
6. Close the CD tray. 
7. Power off

Howdy,

I just tried this on LGV774W and it worked :))

To make this player region free (or change the region), do the following:

* Ensure that there is no disc in the player (ie: "no disc" is displayed).
* Press PAUSE
* Enter 314159
* Enter the region code (0 for region free, or 1-6).
* Press PAUSE
* Turn the player off for a few seconds.
* Turn the player back on
* Voila! You beauty!!

LG DVX 380 Region Code Unlock


This fix for a LG DVX 350 worked on a region 2 (Europe) LG DVX 380 player:

You need to burn the ISO image to a CD then put the CD into the DVD player. A region menu appears, select 0.

Unlock the region code


1. Open DVD tray

2. Press the '0' key on the remote three times, waiting about one second
between key presses. The 'Region Test' screen will appear on the TV. If you don't
get this screen, then power off/power on again and start over.

3. If the Region Test screen appears, enter '0' for all-regions.

4. Press pause to save and exit.
