Oldest version of RAZR. No blue tooth capability to my knowledge. In any event, my laptop is not blue tooth.

Using the data cable approach. How do I do it step-by-step. I am non technical, and nontechnically intuitive. Thx.

You can transfer pictures to PC using Blue-Tooth technology.
You can transfer pictures to PC using Infrared technology.
Both receivers are available in market and can enable PC to receive data.
3rd option is to connect phone directly to PC on USB port and it requires special designed cable.

1)If you have a data cable from which you can connect your phone to the your laptop, you can transfer the photos to the laptop..

2) If your laptop has the latest technology of recognizing bluetooth devices, you can detect your mobile phone thru tht and then transfer the photos thru bluetooth

3) If you dont have built in bluetooth system in your laptop, then you can get a bluetooth device from the near by computer accesory shop and then connect it to the laptop thru USb. Then you can detect your mobile phone thru the bluetooth device in your laptop and transfer all the fotos frm ur mobile fone to the laptop

Basicly you need the data cable and the motorola software. you can most likely buy the software at the sametime when you buy the cable from the shop. if not its also available online.

How do I transfer data from my Motorola RAZR V3xx to v9 please?

I can get pictures off of the original phone. but not messages.
I know how to transfer photos to the new phone, but you have to text message them to yourself. obviously, unless you have unlimited pix and data, this will cost you alot on your next bill.

to transfer pictures off of the original phone:
purchase Datapilot
install it
hook your phone to your computer with a USB cable (doesn't have to be a susteen, datapilot, or verizon cable, this can be any cable.
transfer your photos.
