Possible that there is errors due to many reasons but the most possible can be:

A faulty drum servo - failure of drive or hall IC
A faulty capstan drive.
A struck up loading mechanism
Failure of the dew sensors, end sensors.
Shorting or high current drain in circuits.

Cames on screen SC548

Hi.

I quote from manual:

SC548: Fusing unit installation error

- Definition -
The machine cannot detect the fusing unit when the front cover and right cover
are closed.

- Possible causes -
Fusing unit is not installed
Poor fusing unit connection

To reset try going in service mode and performing a reset.

To open service mode press [All Clear(yellow)] ,[1],[0],[7],[Clear(orange)]and keep holding down the clear button for about ten seconds.
When service mode starts, go to Copier Options , then choose mode 5, and option 810. Execute by pressing 1 and ok.
Do not change anything else in service mode, or you can cause more troubles.

If that does not clear the error , then there is a faulty part, in that case call service at the number listed in the user manual.

I have a Rheem Heat Pump unit. This winter, the outside unit fan at times trips off, but the inside unit keeps running continuously. I woke up one morning & it was 62 in the house. The inside unit ran...

Dear Friend!

Due to very low ambient temp, the fan will not run. Once the pressure build up, it's automatically run for some time and again cut off. But if you keep Heat mode and still tem not raised in your room means the reversable valve not working and hence the compressor and out side fan also will not work. Keep "Heat" mode and temp setting +29 to get better heat. Hope is it helpful?

Door not reading as closed

This is a serious problem. The microwave oven should not work with this safegard working properly as radiation can leak out. Please call a certified repairman to resolve this issue. As this can mean the replacement of the door or other expensive parts, please ask for an estimate over the phone as to the worse scenario so as to avoid sticker shock. On the other hand, as it was in our case, it could mean a simple door adjustment (our microwave is not a KitchenAid). Good luck.

3. keep holding the Power button until the unit beeps
4. unplug unit again
5. plug it back in and it should be good

My SONY HT-CT 100 Keeps going into "Protector" mode - even though there's plenty of airspace and the room that it's in is at 65 degrees farenheit

Protector mode does not just react to ambient temp. Try unplugging all the speakers from the back of the unit and turning it on. If it continues to go into protect mode, it is most likely a bad power supply or possibly a bad D/A circuit. If it does not go into protection mode when the speakers are disconnected, try hooking up one speaker at a time (while the unit is off) If the unit faults again when you turn it back on, it should point toward a bad speaker or crossed wires.

Keeps going off randomly.

if its when your driving, then its picking up alarm systems.

If you are not on a major highway this is less likey.

the unit has city mode and highway mode.

If you put it on city, it will go off less from alarm systems.

Receiver keeps turning on and off also the standby mode blinks

The receiver is going into "protect" mode. This means that a problem has been detected and the unit shut down to prevent further damage. Without seeing the unit and taking some internal measurements, it is difficult to provide a complete solution. Typically, the output transistors fail which can cause this. There are other possibilities too. I would suggest that you get a detailed repair estimate from a local shop. With that information, we may be able to walk you through the actual repair.

I had the same problem and was about to open the unit up to see if I could adjust the sensitivity of the "clean light" trigger. Yeah yeah I know.. high voltage and all... but I'm an electrical engineer (which means I would know exactly what killed my dumb-a$$ after the fact). While looking I discovered a separate set of contacts under the swivel door. That is to say, unplug the unit, open the door, and remove the metal filter part (the thing you clean) according to the instructions. Look just below the lower part of the door (in between the door and the case) and you'll see a metal post and another metal tab. When the door closes, the two make contact which completes the circuit. In my case, they were covered with dust. I took some long Q-tips and cleaned them off and the unit started working properly again. There may be other things to clean along the circuit, but I believe that this is a step that should be done each time you clean the filter. Good luck.
