Question about Sony RM-U25 Remote Control

Open Question

I have received a new remote control from sony (RM U25) as the previous one was broken. This remote control was used on my home theatre system HT-K25 . Is there an easy way of synchronising the two, or is there a manual I can download?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: remote

I have found a solution to the question. This remote will allow a user to control a SONY receiver by pressing the "Use Mode Key" at the top of the remote, and AV1 or AV2 button, in the first line of buttons toward the top of the remote, at the same time and this allows for control of an unlimited number of SONY receivers

SOURCE: sony RM-Y180 remote control

Same problem here. My RM-Y180 remote stopped yesterday....out of nowhere. The batteries are fine, and we even tried putting in brand new batteries. Nothing is working. Has anyone found a solution or should I just by a new remote?

My remote is bad and need to increase the volume manually on Samsung ht-txq120 home theatre system

If your remote won't work at all, then you'll need to get a new remote from Samsung to control all functions. If however, everything works on the remote but the volume, keep the original for all other functions and just use a cheap universal remote programmed to the Samsung code to control the volume. I had the same thing happen on a Sony THIB remote for a HT. I used a Scientific Atlanta to turn it on and off, as well as control the volume, but retained the original remote so I could get at all other functions. If you have to buy a new Samsung remote or if you buy one of those high-dollar universal remotes that program a zillion functions it will cost you big. Fair warning.

Sony rm ss251

As all other buttons works properly except Volum Dn, the problem is with the remote control itself. Clean the remote control and check. To clean it, you have to open the remote control. If it too doesn't help you, buy one original remote control from the authorized service center for Sony. No universal remote control will go properly with Sony TVs. Yes, but you will have very limited control for internal adjustments.
You can purchase a new remote from www.remotes.com
or 1-(800)REMOTES and they will ship it to you within 5 days.

Good Luck !
