Make sure you put the disks in shiny side facing left.
if the console is on its belly then just remember to face the shiny side toward the sd card slot.
you might want to press eject a few times to clear out the drive.
im no pro so this is the bes help i can give and im sure others can give better help so keep your eyes peeled

What if im playing a Wii and my Gamecube disc doesn't work? I've bought a faulty disc before, but I doubt that this is the case. What should I do?

You have a dirty laser or bad laser or bad disc. Suggest seeing if it played on a gamecube or someone elses wii. Will your system play all your other games? If so its the game disc. If your wii has troubles with other games its your wii console.

Disc will not eject

Turn the Wii off and on again after about 20 seconds. Press the eject button again.

Unplug the Wii's AC power supply if Step 1 doesn't work. Wait 1 to 2 minutes, and trying to eject the disc again after turning the Wii back on.

Hold down the eject button for 5 to 10 seconds

Try ejecting the disc with the Wii at different angles. If you hold the Wii upside down, it may help the disc fall out.

Call Nintendo and send the Wii back if non of these steps work. In most cases, a disc stuck in the Wii should be covered by warranty.

Nintendo says to see if power light was coming on, AC adapter reset. unplug from both ends for 90 seconds.Hold eject button for five or 10 seconds.

Game will not eject

Most of the time, it happens in Nintendo Wii. If in case that the disc won't come out, turn off the Wii (with the disc inside of it), turn it back on after 1 minute and then eject the disc and the disc should come out.

If the disc remain stuck after resetting the Wii, then you need to contact the manufacturer. There could be some components that are no longer working correctly that needs to be changed.

Have a great day!

Unable to read the disc, i think the lens is

Is the label facing up the right way? Make sure it is. Also, make sure the game disc you are trying to play does not have fingerprints on it or an excessive amount of scratches. If it has fingerprints, you can just breath onto it with your mouth and wipe it with your shirt, or if you have a microfibre cloth (like a glasses cloth) just wipe it with that. If it still doesn't work and you have it the right way up, it's clean with no scratches and everything, it may be the laser disc reader. I hope this helps.

Unable to read disk error

If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a kind of Wii Problems Reference Fix Guide
