60 inch philips rear projection hdtv one day just wouldnt turn on just some blinking on the power light. maybe a code???

The blinking is a sign that there is a problem in the unit that needs to be checked, that is why the television did not come on.

Most likely a power problem.

You can unplug the unit for some time lets say for about an hour or 2, then open up the cover of the television then assess the panel for any burnt capacitor, then replace it, and if it is the power panel that is faulty, then you can replace it as well. It goes for a token.
