Question about Riso Office Equipment & Supplies

Open Question

We have a cr1610 riso duplicator. It has a lot of small belts that convey the master paper into the waste box. They look like small rubber bands. The office supply says they can't get them anymore. This is a perfectly good machine, it only needs the belts replaced. Can you help?!!! thank you.

SOURCE: Printer paper feed wheel rubber band is broken

I had the exact sazme problem above and managed to successfully fix the probelm using an old mountain bike inner tube. I removed the cover to gain access to the paper feeder and removed it by first moving the white retaining clip on the right hand side towards the centre. Usign a flat headed screw driver I then freed this end from the black housing. Then, noting the orientation of the bar I then gently pulled it out of the gearing procket at the left hand side. This freed the bar from the printer. To get the required thickness of rubber I used four 2cm pieces cut from the inner tube and put them in place of the broken rubber. Re-assembled and worked first time and ever since. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: error E16 RISOGRAPH CR1610

E16 indicates a motor lock with the inking motor. Disassemble the ink pump unit and check for proper rotation of the inking motor itself. This error is caused by a current overload.
Also, remember to try powering on the machine while holding down the reset key to clear all error codes first.

Error code T01-521 on RISO RN 2130

I have an RP3105 with this error code. Next to the magnetic clamp that holds the master in place is another lever mechanism that lifts the master to present it to the waste master mechanism. This has a small white plastic wheel which is engaged to make it move. On my machine the wheel had broken in half. I superglued the two pieces together and everything works perfectly

Riso ? One Stripe in the middle.

Yes you are right. The 'stripper finger' is not lifted enough so it scratches the master.

I know this problem from a GR. But the procedure should be nearly the same for your machine. Behind the back cover you will find a small rubber roller. Diameter 12mm (1/2") or so. This roller runs at the excentic curve of the drum. You might find that the rubber is worn of and so the finger cannot be lifted enough any more. You have to replace it.
(Hint: For a fast momentarily solution you may fix it by several windings of adhesive tape.)

No Ink going to the drum

Good day, there are several reason why theres no ink comming inside the drum. These are the following reason why:
1. Loose rubber O-ring in nozzle of your pump unit.
2. Broken inking hose.(hose size 12 & 10)
3. Clog from ink filter between the nozzle and inking hose.
4. Malfunction on pump motor.
You should verify all those item by dismantling those parts. Just replace any of those parts your drum will surely pump ink again.

A05-304 error & Top section of page cutting off

the thing might be down to an old master stuck to the drum this could cause the faint copies and the missing print.. pull the drum out check under the master.this would also cause the paper to jam on exit. the error is for no master eject check the calmp is free where it grips the master and also the path for the master eject to the waste bin
