Question about Computers & Internet
You can make a boot cd on most any computer that should work on your computer. If your looking for a restore disk only the manufacturer of your computer system can provide that, you would have to go to their website to see what options they offer. If you just need something to repair a Windows boot problem use your Windows installation cd. Most the major companies put a restore partition on the installed hard drive you can access by pressing F8, F10 or F12 while the machine is starting up. Sometimes you have to go into the system bios menu to get this option, HP computers do this. Press ESC then from the menu press your desired option. If your BIOS is not set to check for boot media in the CDROM before the Hard drive you'll have to change that. I recommend you set the boot order to Floppy, CDROM, Hard Drive then if the option is there the USB would be your last selection in the order.
