With the ones that I have seen the ups units have a relay that routes the 110v thru the unit when it has 110v power applied. If you are saying it has no output on batteries only then you may be right about the inverter. SAFELY I would just verify on the board that the DC input from the batteries is correct to test your install. It seems there may be a RS232 DB-9 connection on them with available software for communication with them, if it does I would try it.
If you still have your dead battery connected it will work as long as there's no power loss, there are rare cases this won't happen, you can replace the damaged one for a motorcycle one or even a car battery as long as they're 12 volts and polarity setup is right, inverse polarity will kill the UPS so be careful.
With a 980watt load the run time is only 7 minutes on a brand new battery. If you have the system on full load your run time will be much less and it has likely damaged the battery. here is the APC web site page for your model. If you are running that much equipment I think you need either a bigger UPS or another 1500 and spread the load out.
Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the
USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When
the program asks you to connect the MouseReceiver to the USB
port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
well, the charging voltage is the right one, you may have a problem with charger board, did you check that? tbe 2 big capacitators, maybe you will need to change them, there could be a couple of things, and to be honest i don´t have the circuits sheets, cause i stopped working with powerware.
