Hello,

The reason you are having the red blur is either there is a problem on the panel or the lamp of the television is faulty.

Have a repairman run a check on the lamp of the television and also check if any lead on the panel has melted off and joining two ends together.

Take care

Blue shadows appear to be behind white objects

TV shows large red spot in middle of tv when dark show are on, you can see it more.  Now blue spots on upper right side too.  Spend way to much on this tv to have these kinds of problems only after 3 yrs.

Color issue

Replace 120k resistor on the blue video output module. Resistor is located next to the blue video output transistor (has heat sink). If you replace it with a 1/2 watt carbon type, it will probably never happen again. I recomend the same resistor on the red and green video boards at the same time.

average price for the repair is around 400.00, sounds like there is an extra charge because of the distance involved.
