Question about Computers & Internet
Best way to recover your stuff is to get the hard drive out of your old laptop. To do this, you will have to unscrew a couple of screws on the bottom of the laptop to get access to the hard drive. After that, you can uninstall the hard drive from the laptop, & take it with you to a computer accessories shop. There they can assist you in purchasing an external box which fits the type of interface of your hard drive (either IDE or SATA). You can then install your hard drive inside this box, & then attach the box to a USB port in your current laptop. This way, the old hard drive will behave like an external storage device (similar to a USB flash stick), & you can then pull out your old data from the hard drive. Moreover, you will have an external portable storage device.
