Dust it lightly, do not apply water or cleaner to a hot coil. Unplug any appliance befor attempting to service them. Be care ful not to bend the coils or cooling fins.

How to clean condenser assembly on a GE PFSS5NJWASS?

Use a vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment and the crevice tool. Some refrigerators have the condenser coils on the back, some are behind a grill at the base (they aren't quite so easy). Tilt the refrigerator back a little, but make sure there is nothing inside that will fall over and spill.

Why is my GE Monogram, model zfsb26dnd SS, emitting an odor from the front bottom behind the base grill. The air blowing from underneath produces the smell when the fan is operating. The odor appears

The coil underneath the refrigerator, called the condenser coil, is probably blocked with dirt. This causes undue heat on that coil and the dirt stinks. The condenser coil must be cleaned thoroughly.

I can't find Condenser Coil in Beko FN244 fridge

Good Afternoon GOODGIRL,

I see that you are wondering where the condenser coil and the cooling fan are located on your Beko FN244 refrigerator. I do see that your fridge is based out of the United Kingdom. I suggest contacting the manufacturer in the UK for further assistance. I have been able to locate a telephone number, of 08445 613 613, for your convenience. Hope this is helpful.

Excessive condensation dripping inside refrigerator

Bonjour,
Some refrigerators have heaters mounted in different places around the unit to take care of condensation. If those heaters don't work, you see drips. Another common cause to much frost/ice build up on the freezer evaporator coils or in the area beneath, below or around the evaporator coils. That's usually a sign of incomplete defrost cycle. Another cause could be broken or shifted insulation that's letting very cold air get to the back side of a partition that has warmer air on the other side. The warmer side drips condensation.
Based on the condenser coil cleaning results and not having any temperature data. In your case I would guess incomplete defrost. That leads to defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost termination thermostat and clogged evaporator drain line. Or some combination of the four.

Causes for high compressor discharge temperature

Good day,
If it's an R134A system, it could well be a restriction internally in the refrigeration system.

That's based on the assumption that the condenser cooling motor is running and running at speed,
the condenser coils are clean and the backing cover is in place since that ducts the air thru the condenser properly.

Last possibility is the system was overcharged.

Not cooling it is on and has been working fine, but woke up today and everything is melting- being thawed out - freezer is not cold

Hi there,

You need to check Condenser -
Self-defrosting refrigerators all have a set of coils and a cooling fan, usually under the refrigerator, that need to be cleaned regularly. If these coils get coated with dust, dirt or lint, the refrigerator may not cool properly. The coils may appear to be a thin, black, wide radiator-like device behind the lower kick-panel. To clean them, disconnect the refrigerator from the power source, use a refrigerator condenser brush (see the Appliance Accessories section) and your vacuum cleaner to clean the coils of any lint, pet hair, etc. You may not be able to get to all of the condenser from the front, it may be necessary to clean the remainder of the condenser from the rear of the refrigerator.

Good Luck!!

Thanks
