Do not downgrade. 32 bit is out and even though you can still find some 32 bit machines, they are not what is current. Downgrading has TONS of errors, the most significant is drivers. The older OS cannot run the newer hardware topology. Even HD access drivers no longer work. stick with the 64 bit, it is an outstanding system, and it is stable. The downside is some really older programs do not run, even in compatability mode. Get updated programs.

Sorry, not the answer that you wanted. Early days allowed some downgrades, but no longer can you be successful. Why would someone develop a driver for an outdates OS.

Windows 7 works great, once set up correctly and user shown maybe 8 or 10 things that are different... Otherwise, you will be able to find and do everything. The coolest feature is the search feature, in upper right corner box of Windows explorer, type something about what you are looking for and the system brings up everything with that text in it, in title, body, subject, and other fields...Pretty cool for the disorganized.

Fp3 player driver for windows 8

Unfortunately, your laptop probably has Windows 8 x64. Fisher Price never made drivers for any Windows 64 bit OS. If you had a 32-bit version of Windows, I'd suggest the Fisher Price Windows Vista and 7 software. It's available here: http://service.mattel.com/us/technicalproductdetail.aspx?prodno=K3420&siteid=27&catid=516 .

You could try upgrading to Win8 Pro and using Hyper-V to install a legal copy of XP 32-bit (if you can find one), then use the virtual copy of XP to connect to the FP3. (Windows 7 Pro and Ultimate offered Virtual PC with XP mode to get a copy of XP 32-bit without the expense of a licensed copy.) Otherwise, you need a computer with an older and 32-bit OS. However, 32-bit OS's are limited to a maximum of 3GB of memory.

I wish that I had better news for you.

I cannot install School house rock 3rd and 4th grade

There are workarounds besides using an older version of Windows (dual boot or a separate machine). This requires a licensed version of the older Windows OS. However, if you have the most common version of Windows 7 - Home Premium x64, you'll have to spend some money.

School House Rock - 3rd and 4th Grade works with Win98-XP. So, you can run a virtual computer with the older version of the Windows OS. Then install the School House Rock program into the virtual version of Windows as if it were the only copy of Windows. If you have Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate, or upgrade to one of these versions, you can do this for free. Download and install Virtual PC and XP mode from Microsoft (in order). Other virtual computer programs are VMWare and Parallels. However, with those, you need to buy the program and have a licensed version of the Windows OS.

If you have the 32-bit version of Windows 7, you can try the compatibility mode. (To check your version, click Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System. If the title of the OS ends with x64, you have the 64-bit version. Otherwise, you have the 32-bit version.) If you have the 32-bit, right click on the installer for the School House Rock software. Select Properties and then the Compatibility Tab. Check the Run this program in the compatibility mode and an older version of Windows. Then click Apply and then OK. Right click on the installer again and select Run As Administrator. You may need to repeat this for the program itself.

I hope this helps.

Hi Jolito

You don't say which Operating System you use, so my answer will be presented in general, Windows terms. If yours is a non-Windows Operating System and my answer seems to be of some relevance to you, please consider applying the logic and principles involved here to your own Operating System and, if in doubt, please feel free to add a Comment or Clarification to this Question. Please include information about the Operating System. Doing so helps us makes faster, more accurate and more assured Remote Diagnostics leading to better quality and more useful Advice, Answers, Guidelines , How-Tos and Solutions.

The term "Drivers" is meaningless without associating it with an Operating System and a specific item of Hardware.

There is no such thing as a "Driver". There are only XP VGA LAN Drivers, Vista VGA Drivers or Windows7 Wireless Audio Drivers, Mac OSX Tiger WLAN Drivers. Mac OSX Leopard Epson Sx100 Printer Drivers, Mac OSX Lion Webcam Drivers, Linux Red Hat Midi Controller Drivers, Linux Ubuntu Media Player Drivers, etc.
Although drivers seem to mainly be about hardware, they are actually mainly about software. The Driver does not physically control the Motherboard's Devices. The BIOS and the Operating System do. What the Driver does is (just like a human interpreter for a guest who speaks a different language from his host), introduce the Device to the Operating System and help them to communicate with one another, with the Driver taking instructions from both and passing it back and forth between them.

So when one mentions Drivers, one must also mention the Operating System it will be talking to. In order for that to be possible, the 2 must share a common language. If they do not, then the role of 'interpreter' is impossible, because, then neither the Driver nor the Device will be able to understand what the Operating System is saying.

If your Operating System is among Windows 2000/ Windows Home Edition (32 Bit) and XP (32 Bit), then the Drivers for it can be easily downloaded from here:

What is the procedure to install a 32-bit softwares in to my laptop(windows 7,home premium,64-bit) ?

Most programs designed for the 32-bit version of Windows will work on the 64-bit version of Windows. Notable exceptions are many antivirus programs.
Device drivers designed for 32-bit versions of Windows won't work on computers running a 64-bit version of Windows. If you're trying to install a printer or other device that only has 32-bit drivers available, it won't work correctly on a 64-bit version of Windows.

Windows 7 64bit does run programs that will run on windows 7 32bit, see here

How Windows 7 / Vista 64 Support 32 bit Applications

BUT not ALL 32bit programs will run on Windows 7!!! There are many programs that will run on Windows XP and before that will not run on Windows 7. IF you had Windows 7 Pro version (or upgrade) there is a program you can download from Microsoft that will simulate an XP environment to allow programs to run called "XP MODE".
Try to install the 32bit software first. If installation not succeed, it would be better if you first look into a newer version of the program you want to run.You have to consider that a newer version of your program might not be that much more expensive than upgrading to pro, and with the newer version, usually comes newer features.

Hope this help and if helpful RATE please.

Maybe IBM have some drivers but as XP is obsolete, they may not.

Operating Systems as supplied from new.
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit
Microsoft Windows Vista Business 32-bit and 64-bit
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005

Are you using XP Tablet Edition as that edition has the drivers for the features?
