RCA Lyra MP3 model#RD1072A

I need to replace the cord that goes from my player to the computer I used to download music, where can I find the accessories and get another instruction manual. I missplaced everything but the player itself.

I have the RCA MC5104b and it worked fine until this afternoon. I can't even format it all the way, but when I hook it up to the computer by USB, it will not retrieve the files. it still plays but now it is missing most of the files i had on it. Can someone tell me what I can do to fix this?

Try going to Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Circuit City, Best Buy, or Kmart and ask them for new accessories including the instruction manual.

Pause function for RCA Lyra RD1072A.

This player does not have the true pause you are looking for. The iPod Nano - 2nd generation - has a true pause - once you hit pause it will stay paused and even go to sleep. When you revive the player it will leave off where you left it.

Try a firmware upgrade.  I'm trying to look that up right now so that you don't need to thumb through the garbage. everywhere i've read about malfunctions takes an upgrade but still crashes days or weeks later.

You need to switch the lock off on your LYRA. It is located on the back of the device between the pictures of a key and the word "off".

Have rca lyra mp3 , but on cd with it

If you have Windows XP you need to download Musicmatch Jukebox in order to transfer music. Google it. You will probably have to pay for it. However Musicmatch Jukebox does not work with Windows Vista. If you have Vista, you can use Windows Media Player to transfer music to your Lyra. The Media Player automatically comes with Windows Vista OS. Of course, you need to connect your Lyra to your computer using the proper USB cable, so your computer must have a USB port.
