Samsung new dishwasher will not run through a cycle or drain properly. Water left in bottom. Keeps stopping and going to quick flashing.

The drain hose from the dishwasher may be partially or fully clogged with food stuffs like peas, corn, green beans, or other foods. disconnect the drain hose and clear debris from drain hose and run threw drain cycle.

On humid days water puddles in the bottom of the frig.

Sounds like the door is not closing properly so humid air is coming into the fridge OR door not closing properly and the humid air is condensing around the door so it is leaking the condensation OR

The water from the defrost cycle is not evaporating so it overflows from the evaporator pan above the compressor. You better call a service technician before getting some floor damage (Do not call A&E)

My fridge keeps filling up with water, I pulled the bottom of the fridge out and vacumed, the tray underneath is dry and I guess the fridge isn't draining properly. How do I fix this?

Yes you are correct it is not drainind properly.
Remove the back panel in your freezer and at the bottom of the evaporator coil you will see a hole about ½” in diameter this is the drain tube. You might need to use some warm water to melt the ice and then run a wire being very careful not to puncture the hose and run it down the tube to free up the drain. This tube travel down to the bottom of your refrigerator to a pan sometimes located on top of the compressor or somewhere else down there. It collects the water there to evaporate. You can enter your model # at www.appliancehelponline.com for a diagram or illustration of your refrigerator. Not all models are available.

WD1000 has too much water

You are not hooked up to the drain properly. If you do not create a trap the water will drain back into the machine. The drain tube goes from the bottom of the machine up to the top and then back to the bottom. You need to run the drain tube up to a final drain or other trap. You can even create another mini trap by making a loop before running into the drain. Whatever you do just try to get the hose to go about as high as the highest point at the back of the machine, but not higher, as it will create a siphon and flood the machine.

Water dripping from bottom of freezer casing

Your drain line is frozen. Ice thawed by the heater in the freezer normally drains down a tube into a pan on top of the compressor, where it evaporates from compressor heat. If the drain freezes the water runs into the freezer bottom instead of the tube then into your fridge. To solve this remove everything from your freezer and remove the access panel in the back or bottom depending on your model of fridge. Turn off or unplug the appliance. Upon removing the panel(s). you will likely see that the bottom of the freezer is full of ice. Use a hair dryer or heat gun to thaw ice and remove. In the very back bottom you will uncover the drainhole. I usually use very hot water and a shop vac to thaw the drain hole. When you finally clear it you will hear water running into the pan on top of the compressor. Somethimes it takes a lot of hot water to clear the drain. Hope this helps!

Water left in the units top & bottom

From what you describe, the drain hoses are not properly connected.

1. Each drawer has its own drain hose. Each hose should terminate at the drain point with a 'Y' adapter.
2. Inspect the drain point (under the sink where the drain pipes are) to make sure this 'Y' adapter is present. (you should see two drain hoses from the DW). If not present, then the DW drain lines are not installed properly. (Someone took a shortcut and installed the 'Y' adapter behind the DW)
3. If terminated properly, make sure the drain hoses extend upward as they leave the drain point.

It is important the drain lines are connected properly to ensure proper drainage from the DW. Consult the installation manual for complete details.

From what you describe, drain water from the top drawer is getting into the bottom drawer or waste water from the disposer is backing up into the bottom drawer.

1. Each drawer has its own drain hose. Each hose should terminate at the drain point with a 'Y' adapter.

Ice forming in bottom of freezer

Rita, your drain hole is frozen over and when your refer goes into defrost the water is running out into the cabinet instead of down the drain hole. Remove the evaporator cover and poor some boiling water in the evaporator drip pan. This should melt the ice and clear the drain hole....Catriver...post back.
