Why do I have very large temp variations in my Truet49Comertial refrigerator. and is the fans suppose to run continousley.

the fan only turns off when it goes into defrost cycle. the temp variation can be due to the settings of the cold control and the air flow knobs they should never both be set to high but best to keep them at medium setting

I have a G E TFX20Jr side by side it runs all the time, everything works fine. My eggs are frozen in the firg. side. What is my most likely prob?

Sounds like a thermostat stuck. Clean condenser and check any fans are running fine. If turning the thermostat down stops it running all the time, all the better!

Fridge warm, freezer has frost on back panel & is defrosting, fans work, just changed defrost thermostat, no air is moving from freezer side to fridge side, drain pan under fridge is dry

this fan needs to run when the compressor runs, check fan blade for being jammed by ice if you have this much ice on back wall as ice will stall motor,if no fan there will be no cool air to refrige compartment also the defrost drain tray will fill with water then freeze over which in turn floods the freezer floor and refrige compartments cause it cannot drain to the pan in the bottom

My Whirlpool EL7ATRRKQ01 ALL REFRIGERATOR cools but it doesn't seem to ever shut off. No matter where I move the temperature dial, I can hear the fan going all the time. The only time it shuts off is...

First I would check cold control. Thats where you turn it off, if your temp is not warm. it seems
to be defective and not shutting off. If your temp is warm proceed with the following.
I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if freezer control is turned WARMER, which makes the Ref. colder
Also this might be a common Defrost problem, Ice
is not being melted by the defrost system. The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater, heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath
Check cold control (thats where you turn it colder)

Freezer is to cold and refrigerator not cold enough. When you open freeze it is always running

Sounds like the fan that cools the lower refrigerator is inoperative or it's fan blades frozen up.
Try defrosting. You will have to remove everything and remove the access panel to the fan to ensure it's fan blades are free and not frozen up. They have a built in inherent safety feature and sometimes they will work properly again when thawed out. More than likely the small fan motor burned out and will need to be replaced. There are appliance parts stores every were or call the mfgr parts department.
Once replaced your can restore your freezer setting to where it belongs. There is a dial that raises and lowers this setting.
The small fan draws air from the freezer and cools the refridgerator. It is also on a thermostat and usually has a dial to set the way it cycles and determines the temperature.
Cheers,
TF

Fridge not cooling

If the refrigerator isn't cool, you need to answer some questions, then see if the compressor is running. First, answer these questions: Is the refrigerator completely dead? If so, see “It's stopped completely.” Is the thermostat knob turned to the proper setting? If not, reset it. Next, see if the compressor motor is running The compressor is a football-sized case with no apparent moving parts. It's on the outside of the refrigerator at the back near the bottom. If it is humming or making a continuous noise and your refrigerator is still not cooling, there may be a more serious problem with one or more of several different components, we recommend contacting a qualified appliance repair technician for further help. If the compressor is not running but you do have power to the refrigerator, there may be a problem with one or more of these: The compressor The Thermostat The overload, relay, or capacitor The defrost timer The condenser fan motor

W/p gs6nbe refrigerator not getting cold enouth

First things first, make sure you checked your temperature dial in the inside of your refrigerator and make sure it's set cold enough.

If it is, then check inside your freezer and see if you hear a fan. If you don't hear it running at all for at least 10-30 minutes with the freezer door open, than you likely have a fan that is either in-op or frozen in place with Ice. If it's frozen with ice, you can check by removing the screws around the panel towards the back. If you don't see any ice, you could also try moving the fan yourself to see if it moves. If you do hear a fan going, than it's likely that your refrigerator has low freon, but make sure you check for ice build up first.
