My Kenmore Refrigerator is not refrigerating

if the freezer and fridge are warm check the start device on the compressor, alot of times you can smell a burning oder when this pops, also you can remove it and shake it,if you hear pieces rattling around then it's bad, also if there's ice on the back inside wall of the freezer then you have a defrost problem, also when you open the freezer door do you hear the fan blowing,if not you could have a bad defrost fan motor, open the fridge door,up near the ceiling on the right side you'll see the model number, send it to me,let me know if you found ice or frost on the back wall of the freezer or what you see and i'll be glad to help you

My freezer works but not the fridge

the freezer blows cold air over to the fridge side so the problem is in the freezer.send the model number, also open the freezer door,do you hear the fan blowing,if not the fan could be bad or have ice around it.also touch the back wall in the freezer,is there any like snow or ice on it?if so you have a defrost problem and have to take off the inside back wall of the freezer, melt out all the ice and with a meter and the fridge shut down or unplugged check the heater and the defrost thermostat to see what is bad, also,ge has had alot of problems with the computer boards.one more thing,if it's a bottom mount freezer on the bottom the door could have been left open, look at the packages and shelves,if there's frozen water droplets on them the door was left open and the air ducts frooze up and the fan can't blow clod air to the fridge side, you need to melt it out with a hair dryer or unplug the machine for a day or two and let it defrost on it's own.send the model number and tell me what you found from what i told you and if you need more help i'm here.let me know what you find

Icemaker water line is frozen...i will remove everything and open the freezer door to let it warm up. When I chill the freezer again do I keep the icemaker arm up until the freezer is cold and then lower...

Dont leave freezer door open it will cause alot of problems. The ice maker will not call for water until the temp in freezer is cold enough. Remove the ice jam. If you remove from back of freezer it helps alot. Pull out of the back wall and remove ice be sure to put it back the way it was. Any further assistance please feel free to contact me.

Alot of ice on back of freezer wall and freezer and refer warm

this might be that the door is left open or is being opened for too long. check to see if anything is holding the door from being closed properly.

My refrigerator isnt getting as cold as it should and its starting to leak

it sounds like a you have a clogged drain in the freezer. You will have to remove the screws from the back wall of the freezer....down at the bottom after removing the back wall you will probably find alot of ice. you will have to chip the ice out of the bottom and pour some hot water on it until you get the drain cleared....that should solve the problem....if not just post back and i will try to help you further on the problem....thank you

Ice maker is making ice but leaking alot of water under the fridge and in the freezer. What can I do to shut if off until I repair the ice maker?

pull our your frig. and follow the water line coming into it. the other end should have a valve on it in the floor or the wall. turn off the valve and that will stop any water from coming to your frig for water or ice making.

Replace the defrost heater thermostat in back of freezer wall. You can reach it from the open front freezer area.Just take loose the back wall plate(s).Youll see it (maybe under alot of ice)clipped onto heater coil. You should be ok now. Please leave a rating!!

Frig not cold but freezer is ice maker not making much ice either

Is your fan blowing in the freezer? Frost on the back wall of the freezer usually indicates a defrost problem... defrost themostate, heaters, take back panel off and check evap for frost build up and if your fan in working.
