Hi,
My first thought is that this has nothing to do with moving the machine and the time of this failure is coincidental...
The timer motor has become too weak to trip the last click to get the washer into the rinse...
There is no reason other then a weak timer for this to be happening just because of moving the washer.
I would be replacing the timer if it were my machine...

My frontload gallery series washer will start cycle, but only continues to fill with water and drain. It did this all night but didn't go on to the next stage of the cycle...is it a bad control switch

Sounds like a problem with the main electronic control board in the control panel but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt meter and the wiring diagram from the machine.

Kenmore washer

most likely you have a sock or, some cloth obstructing the pump.
you will have to bail out the water then: remove the Sears 700 series 4screws holding the washer's control panel and, remove the washer side clips under the panel to remove the washer's sides then remove the 8 pump screws to remove the pump face and, remove the obstruction. the

Kenmore 80's series top loader only works on wash and rinse cycle

This is a problem with the pump being stuck so the motor cant turn the whole thing. Turn the washer on its side, underneath you can acces the pump, which is connected to the motor by two long clips. remove the pump and take out the colg that caused it to get stuck.

Won't complete cycle, stops at rinse. and can't get hot water.

Are you on well water? turn off the cold water to the washer and clean the screen filter out. do not leave filter out.
the machine probably has a cold only final rinse so it won't work properly.

i am a recently retired engineer of 20 years, this sounds like the outlet pump, maybe just a blockage, but could be a faulty unit, remove plug before checking, start with that and see how you go on, thank you, if this has worked rate me please
