Sorry for taking so long to respond (had a new addition to the family at the beginning of June, so been somewhat distracted). It generally does matter which way they are facing, yes. For the most part, the side with the writing (where applicable), faces the top of the case, and the side with the holes (again, where applicable), showing parts of the connections, face the bottom of the case.

What to do if your iphone will not turn on?

Try holding the top button and the face button at the same time for a few seconds then release. If that doesn't work you could have a bad battery connection take it in and have it looked at or you can order the special screwdriver to take the two screws out of the bottom of the phone and look at a youtube video to see where the cable is screwed in. Sometimes the power switches go bad but you can try pushing it hard and moving it around as you push down.

How can i replace broken sparkplug 1998 windstar rearside

Hi Isaac, I guess your problem is that the plug has broken off inside the plug tube and you need to remove it. If it broke off while you were replacing it, (fitting a new one) has it cross threaded and damaged the cylinder head? If so you'll need to force on the plug wrench past the damaged electrode and loosen it the normal way. If the threads have been damaged, you may need to remove the head. I know there is a Locktite product which is used to repair damaged threads, but as we have never seen it here and I don't know how well it works? If the plug ceramic part broke off during fitting you'll need to do the same. Force the wrench down onto the faces of the plug and removal. Taking it out from the tube will need some fiddling around with a long nosed pliers or a rubber tube. Once loose push the tube onto the end (which will be difficult if its bent. Just take your time. Regards John

Car turns over has power but wont fire, what should i check first?

check and make sure you have voltage going to the plugs, remove one plug, put the spark plug wire back on it,, and place the bottom of the plug on a good engine ground, ( just about any bolt head on the motor will work,, try and stay away from the fuel system) have someone turn the motor over , you need to hold the plug with insulated pliers or another tool, so you don't get zapped,, :) ,, while its being turned over, Look for a nice blue spark to shoot off the end of the plug, if you have that ,, the electronics are ok, if not, you have to back track, ( you didn't supply which motor you have so I'll give you a basic rundown of what to check next) remove the distributor cap , look inside it at the points that drop down inside it, ( the metal prongs ) if they have build up on them, scrape it off with a small screw driver or something,, also, check the face of the rotor, clean it if it needs it, probably does ,, re assemble the cap and rotor,, and try starting it again. ( by the way ,, put the plug back ) if it doesn't start after that ,, respond to this reply and I'll assist you more,,

Do timing gears on 1972 v8 pontiac both face up or face each other

It doesn't matter, IF you have not disturbed the distributor. If the distributor is out, then when you put the cover on, the marks should face each other. Just to make sure, when turning the engine, put your finger over #1 spark plug hole, slowly turn engine, when air blows out, turn engine slowly to the timing mark and set distributor to point to #1 cylinder on the dist cap.

Wen idle car will turn of,new plugs and batery,do i need a new alternator

you'll need a meter for this,, but with the motor running, check the voltage at the battery ,, you should get a reading of 13.5 to 14.5 volts, if you do,, then the alternator is ok, what you need to have checked are the OBD codes, many places will do this for free so check around, once you get the codes, post them here, or just reply to this feed, and I'll Look them up for you and give you the selected solutions for your problem Thanks

I have installed dlink 1016 10/100 Switch I have two computers and one dsl router connected to this switch but i am facing slow internet problem. when i connect my pc directly with router it works fine...

you'll probably find the router is set up to ignore ping requests, most are by default, for better results, try pinging a website and compare the results both with and without the switch. The switch shouldn't make any noticable difference to your connections, I use one and there's not perceivable difference in performance.

Which way does the final filter go in? Green side facing in or out? Thanks, Klair

Generally the green side faces out. In all honesty, it doesn't really matter, since the only thing that exhaust filter is really filtering is carbon dust off of the motor, and stuff that leaked through the other filters and already went through the motor, and it's not airtight so most debris just goes around it and into the air anyway.
