To display date/time, check that you haven't just switched display modes first. Press "TRANSFER" to switch between date/time, extension/assigned name, and day/night mode. If this does not work, have a look at the related topic, http://www.fixya.com/support/t4431178-changing_time_settings
Unplug the phone, wait one minute, then plug it back in and see if the display comes back on. Press the program button, press 22 on the dial pad, press program button again ( if the phone is ringing on the incoming call and not just flashing).
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Well, either you better hurry up and return soon :-) or go to the phone and dial *7500 on the intercom. There are absent messages in the system that are accessed with *750x commands. You found the first one at *7501
Press 'Prog' then press star key twice, then enter '1234', then enter '000', will get you to Date & Time Set, then press 'enter' button (bottom right hand corner of phone), this will then allow you to change the date and time accordingly.
Hope all goes well
