If it's a electric dryer I would suspect the high limit fuse and thermostat on the heater element housing or the heater element itself. Most of these problems are caused by a restricted house vent. They should be cleaned every 3-4 years. If it's a gas dryer, I would suspect a bad ignitor or gas valve coil.

My creda mode tcr2 isnt drying my clothes anymore

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have nottaken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then youneed to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should takeplace. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causesfor your dryer to fail.

If the dryer is generating heat, the first thing I'd check is your vent. Even a partially restricted vent will drastically increase your dry time. Vent hoses are easily crushed behind the dryer and the flap inside the exteriod hood can be blocked.

Tumbler has heat but clothes not drying

You may have lint issue with the vent hose. If your vent hose has alot of lint in it the dryer will not properly dry clothes. Clear it out really good, take it outside and shake it all out so that its as clean as you can get it and then give it a shot. If it still isnt drying at that point you may have to replace the thermal fuse which regulates the temperature inside the dryer.

We bought our maytag washer/dryer in 2007. Washer does great, however our dryer is the problem. It seems to take longer to dry clothes, than any dryer that we have had, also the clothes "ball up", which...

are u sure the belt isnt sliping somtimes if u over load or have a lot of cloths in it that will ball up the cloths and haeting problem either the vent tube is stopping up or heating coil is going out

My dryers isnt drying my clothes. How can i fix

Is it taking too long to dry or are you not getting any heat at all? If it's taking too long to dry, you'll need a new t-stat, if it's not heating at all, you need to replace the element and the thermal fuse. Email or call us with your model number and we'll be sure to get the right parts out to you right away. Hope this solves your problem and we hope to hear back from you real soon.

Will not dry clothes, blows cold air.

need brand.most dryers have thermal fuse that protect the element from going bad.I would first check your breaker and make sure it isnt tripped.a dryer will run but not heat if breaker is tripped.

Taking to long to dry

This could be two problems. First problem, you must have good ventilation. Blow out the dryer vent with a leaf blower or some other type of fast moving air. Also be sure that the vent on the outside isnt blocked by little woodland creatures trying to find a nice warm home. Also be sure that the vent isnt kinked or blocked between the dryer and the wall. If that doesnt work, you may have only 1 of the 2 elements actually heating behing the drum. This would entitle removing the front and drum to check. Let me know if you need further help.
