Question about Panasonic PT-52LCX65 44" HDTV
The pink spot and later green spots indicates the screen is at faulty,
The light engine is defective. The part is an entire assembly. It is about $650. You can get this parts from ebay.com or shopjimmy.com.

No, no, no! If these are large color spots, a good service technician can plug into the EPROM board and load a software update or patch. It only takes a few minutes and picture will be better than new. Sometimes I think the tech folks saying "light engine is bad" are getting a commission on new TV's sold.
