Question about Acu-Rite Acurite Wireless Weather Thermometer 604
My outside display stopped working, but the inside display still worked. I found that one of the two batteries in the inside unit was almost all the way dead. Once I replaced both batteries the outside display worked. I also checked the batteries in the outside unit. After all batteries were installed, I pushed the small button that is inside the battery compartment on the outdoor unit. It's now working perfect..

Double check that you have put the batteries in correctly. I believe one of the batteries in the display device is used for receiving signal. If that battery is in backwards, the display will work, but it will not get outside information from the other unit.

Double check the batteries to make sure they are installed correctly. If one of the batteries in the outdoor sending unit is in backwards, it will not send the outdoor data. On the indoor unit, there is typically one battery that is used for receiving the signal from the outdoor unit. If all of the batteries are in correctly but that one, you will see the display and the indoor temperature information, but the outdoor information will not be displayed.
