Question about Rule Boating

I'm looking for an efficient aerator (oxygenator) for keeping bait alive on shore using a 12V supply. I have a catalogue showing the Rule 500 oxygenator pump but it does not have much detail. As the water in the tank will be recirculated, I am interested in whether the Rule 500 is suitable for this task. In particular, does it have a suitable strainer to stop debris (bait) getting sucked into the impeller. Regards, Terry

it sounds like one or more of your shut off valves has a glog from hard water calcium. were from indiana its a big problem here.To check this u will have to shut off main water supply and remove top of shut off valve and check for white crusty blockage, even if u see a few particals its present. It can severely restrict flow.

hook up garden hose to faucet @ the bottom of the tank and drain the hose to the outdoors or down a floor drain and open the valve , leaving the cold supply valve on , let it run until it runs clear , this will get rid of some of the sediment deposit that form at the bottom of tank , is the most effective way i know , good luck

The 12v & 240v switch is to change voltage supplied to the camper. You use the 12v if you are running things from the battery; you use the 240 when you're connected to what the US calls "shore power" or "land power"

My bubble box areator wont make bubbles

If you can hear the motor operating the problem could be the rubber diaphragm in the pump. Check it to make sure it isn't damaged or torn, especially where it mounts to the arm. If so, you can purchase replacements. Trying to repair it most likely won't work as an adhesive could introduce toxic fumes into the air and into, into your bait.

My oxygenator pump on my boat turns on but it doesn't always shoot bubbles. All of a sudden it starts to shoot bubbles and then it stops. I can't figure out the problem. Can you help?

your stone or jets are plugged. if stone try to clean it. if jets try to run needle in jets. it sounds plugged up. check lines. if that does not work diaphragm had a hole in it or the push rod is bent or connectoe is loose or worn out. check these as long as motor works it is usually one of these. good luck

P0421 = Catalyst System Efficiency below Threshold(Bank1) The catalyst's efficiency is demonstrated by its ability to oxidize CO and hydrocarbon emissions. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) compares the output signals of the front and rear oxygen sensors to determine whether the output of the rear sensor is beginning to match the output of the front oxygen sensor. Air/fuel mixture compensation keeps the frequency of the front oxygen sensor high due to the changes from rich-to-lean combustion. The catalyst causes the rear oxygen sensor to have a lower frequency. As the catalyst wears, the rear oxygen sensor's signal trace begins to match the front oxygen sensor's signal trace. That is because the catalyst becomes saturated with oxygen and cannot use the oxygen to convert hydrocarbon and CO into H???O and CO??? with the same efficiency as when it was new. A completely worn catalyst shows a 100% match between the frequency of the front and rear sensors.

Rule number one, BAIT IT FIRST!
Rule number two, always keep your fingers out of the line of fire.

When you are looking at the trap, it is sprung. That is, the mechanism is tripped, and the spring has flipped the bar to the "catch" position. You'll see the bar and spring. Look, and you will see another, single bar, connected on one end to the trap, with the other end loose. This is the trigger release bar. If you look at the bait tray, you'll see a place where the metal is pushed out on the side. This is the trigger. Here's how it works: You fold the spring bar over the bait pan, and hold it tight against the base, keeping your fingers out of the way (see rules 1& 2 above). While holding the spring bar down, use your other hand to bring the trigger release bar over the spring bar and to the bait tray. The end of the bar rests under the notch on the bait tray. As you are setting the bar, you'll slightly reduce your pressure on the spring bar. This pushes the release bar tighter against the notch. When the bar is in place in the notch, the trap is armed. When the mouse is tugging at the bait, the bait pan will shift and release the trigger release bar. It flips backwards, releasing the spring bar, which then catches the mouse.

What type (atx or atx12v etc.) power supply is compatible with the intel h55tc mobo?

A quick look at the H55TC's architecture tells me you should choose - at minimum - a power supply
that is ATX12V 2.0 compliant. This will provide you with a contiguous 24-pin connection to the CPU,
increased power on the 12V rails, and adequate power to most of the board's optional components.

That's the short answer.

From there you need to take a look at how you intend on completing your build. Are you going to use the onboard graphics or pop in a discrete video card? If the latter, then you should be looking at
PSU's that are ATX12V v2.2 compliant, to provide adequate power to the PCIe x16 slot. But keep in mind that ATX12V v2.2 revision limits 12V rails to 20A per rail, which means if you plan on building a performance machine that begs for 60A of power, you'll be limited to power supplies with split 12V rails. Multiple 12V rails introduces load-balancing issues and other concerns, if your plan is to push this system to its limits.

Moving up to the ATX12V v2.3 form factor removes the 20A per rail restriction, allowing for high-amp
single 12V rail power supplies. This revision also ensures higher efficiency ratings (80% on avg.) which means less power consumption, and less heat build-up in your case.

The optimal choice would be an EPS12V compliant power supply, a revision made specifically with multi-core processors in mind. My pick for one of the best value EPS12V power supplies would be the CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX - currently on sale at Newegg for $109.99 (30-bucks-off.)

It delivers a true 750W of power; pumps out 60A on a single 12V rail; is both SLI & Crossfire certified; 80%+ efficient; Core i7 compatible - essentially future-proof for the life of the PSU.

Finally, here's a link to a pretty decent power supply calculator by Asus. It should give you a good idea of how much juice you're gonna need once you trick out your system.

17a @ 12v is only 200w
surprisingly, it will power the system that you have specified though. you should be running near 180w or at 90% capacity. this is really efficient and leaves a little room for upgrade down the road. is really your best bet. you were wrong in stating that their information is out of date however. they keep this site pretty up-to-date, just not very organized. you just have to look really hard for what you have sometimes. all of the parts aren't always in alphabetical order as it may appear!

The Engine Control Module (ECM) uses oxygen sensor signals to maintain the air fuel mixture at the ratio resulting in optimum fuel economy and reduced emissions. The amount of oxygen in the exhaust gases indicates, to the front oxygen sensor, whether the air fuel mixture being supplied to the engine cylinders is rich or lean. The readings of the rear oxygen sensor are used to indicate the efficiency of the catalytic converter. The ECM calculates catalytic convener efficiency by comparing the rear oxygen sensor signal to the front oxygen sensor signal.

A normal oxygen sensor signal will constantly fluctuate above and below 500 mV , with the front oxygen sensor signal frequency of at least 5 Hz at 2500 RPM . Due to the effect of the catalytic converter, the rear oxygen sensor signal frequency will be lower than the front oxygen sensor signal frequency. If the rear oxygen sensor signal coincides with the front oxygen sensor signal a large percentage of the time, this indicates a loss in efficiency of the catalytic converter or a malfunction within the fuel system.

After the engine runs for 2 minutes , the ECM checks the rear oxygen sensor heater circuit. If during two driving cycles the rear oxygen sensor's heater resistance is less than 4.6 Ohms or greater than 19.5 Ohms , the ECM will set P0141 and MIL will turn on. This code indicates an unusually high or low heater circuit resistance reading by the rear oxygen sensor or ECM.
